Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Centralia

The carhop was super polite as well as the order taker. The lot was clean, quiet, and comfortable. After ringing the button I was answered quickly and they repeated my order for clarification which I always like to hear. Chili cheese Tots came out piping hot and my cranberry juice slush was exactly right not too much of either. Perfect in my opinion. It didn't take but a few minutes for my order to come out. I paid on the order screen so no issues there. The only thing that kept this as a 3 eating on the food and overall 4 total was that the burger was significantly colder compared to the tots and the meat was dry or over cooked around the edges. Couldn't have possibly been made to order . I'd gladly wait a few extra minutes to have a hot burger . I'd say they as many places have mastered order accuracy, service in the front and next would be to coordinate timing of product drops to ensure the entire meal is fresh . This is ridiculous. I can't make this up.

We go to sonic (only 4-5 cars there) pressed the button and we waited for 10 minutes and no answer. We pressed it again and waited another 5-10 minutes. Still no answer. We thought our button was broken so we went up to the patio. And had to wait ANOTHER 15 minutes. At this point in losses and obviously other people were because they were just leaving. We look in the window and they are pretending to drop drink and they are literally throwing drinks and shakes across the room to each other. We ordered and then of course it took them another 15 minutes to get our drinks out to us. When our drinks got here they were barley stirred. I normally don't have an issue if I go in the morning but for dinner is another story. Tonight was probably my last straw for dinner. We showed up at approximately 8:55pm and ordered. I then pushed the button to check on our order at approximately 9:20pm, I was told they couldn't find our order after I gave it a second time and then a young guy came out and physically wrote down our order with a pen and paper. We then proceeded to wait another 10-15min. the same guy brought our food out but forgot our drinks so he had to go back in to get them. After getting our drinks we left and went home.
