Colosseum Pizza — Restaurant in Centreville

Wasn't impressed. Wanted to try somewhere different. Hadn't eaten anywhere in Centreville in years . The service was good if I had to only rate the young man at the counter the lady not so much , she's been there to long not welcoming AT ALL . I explained that I had never been there before she just looked at me like " ok lets go lady what do you want " . I ordered and sat down. She brought me a container with what looked to be fixings for my uncles burger. Really, the salad had lettuce, tomatoes sliced for a burger, a couple of onions and pickles. Yes pickles . I took it back up for an explanation . She said that's the way it is, the salad . I asked really , is it a culture thing? I was serious. She said if u don't want it I can take it back or do you want it? I told her no I did not want it but I had never saw in my life a salad with Pickles that look like Burger Fixins she walked away and said that they've been doing it for 20 some odd years. I told her I get that but I had never been there before. Not friendly at all The food was so so. But I'm afraid I will never return again unless the young guy at the register gets his own place LOL. I had really high hopes for this place, but was sadly disappointed. It was my first time visiting; as this place was recommended to me by a friend. The pizza was OK, but the customer service and the overall experience is why I gave this place a one star. I placed my order on my car speaker while driving; and there was a loud noise on the road when I was trying to complete my order. The gentleman, who I believe was the owner of the store, said something, and then hung up the phone. When I called back to the restaurant to ask what he said, and to make sure he got my order correct; because I didn’t give him my name or phone number; or get a total, or order confirmation; his response was, “why are you calling again…I have your order…I’ve spent too much time on the phone already.” I was shocked! At that point I refused to give this restaurant my service. Had it not been for my hungry mom in the car, who talked me into picking up the food, I would’ve said forget it. But I ended up picking up the food; and instead of the man apologizing; he wrote it off because he was busy. Busy or not, he had no right to be rude and abrupt on the phone. Customer service is what can make or break a business. I would not recommend this place, and I will not...

I was unsure about this place when I walked in, and there was a line and no one at the counter. I was walking out when another person was coming in, so I asked her if the food was any good. She said they had the absolute 💯 best pizza. That made me turn around and try it. There were 3 or 4 tables pushed against the walls and a few chairs lining the wall for people to wait for their to go orders. One older man was doing everything. He had a helper who didn't speak English but served the drinks and rang up your order under the man's direction. We had steak sandwiches. We were actually served before others in line because he had to wait for their pizzas to cook and could make ours during that time. His menu was extensive for the small restaurant and written on a large chalkboard or 2. Really enjoyed the food. The people waiting were not angry, and it appeared were used to the wait.
