The restaurant overall was kind of disappointing. Hopefully there will be some tweaks as they are very new. The salsa tasted good, but was not spicy at all and was very runny; we could not bring it to our mouths w/o spilling on the table. The chips were also kind of disappointing as they seemed like they came out of a bag, but, at least they were warm. Once served, our waiter did not come back and check on us until we were almost done(they were busy). If he had, I would have asked him for the sour cream that was supposed to come with the burrito I ordered(which tasted okay, nothing special). My son did like his torta, but my husband really didn't like his $18 shrimp taco "platter". There was not much to them. It's called a platter, but only came with 3 tacos, no rice or bean. It needed a sauce with the slaw to tie it altogether, so, he had to order rice on the side for $5. He didn't eat the rice, though, because it was bland and very sticky and tasted like Minute rice with some orange coloring thrown in; no flavor. Not authentic at all. We've eaten a lot of Mexican food, in several different countries and states and were so excited about this new restaurant closer to our home. I will give it another chance after they've been open for longer, but, we'll most likely be driving further for Mexican food until then. Sorry to yuck anyone's yum, but that was...
Read moreI was having a pretty bad day and decided to go try Uno Mas and grab a taco for takeaway. I sat at the bar and was given a menu. Then before I ordered the bartender says "Also, I can't have any other drinks the bar.". I had put my water bottle on the bar. First I placed it on the table behind me, but then I thought, I don't really like her tone and I am just out of patience for today. So I told her I was just going to go. And she said "Sorry", but in that snide tone that people use when they actually are not sorry. Instead I went over to Colosseum and got sub for takeaway, they're always nice and the food is good. I bartended for a long time and I never gave someone that attitude over a water bottle. In fact I went to the bar at the Hyatt and place the same water bottle on the bar and ordered a Negroni, no problem. Not a single place in this town has ever given me an issue over having a water bottle. Like many people, I just got used to always having my own...
Read moreBeen there 4 times now. Meat is delicious! Ive had alot of tacos where the meat was so juiced up that the moisture broke through the tortilla. Tortilla was not soggy or broken but meat was juicy on bite. Tacos also had two tortillas!! This is a must in my book. If you like spicy, ask for hot sauce when you put in your drink order so you have it in time for the complimentary (love this) chips and salsa. Spicy level of chip salsa and verde salsa was very mild, but very flavorful. With Taco Bell coming to town, Im glad there is more authentic food right in town. Great place for Latin American food. I'm a huge fan of Latin American food and this is one of the best places Ive been. If you ever find yourself on this side of the bridge please, please check this place out! The corn ribs and Birria tacos...
