so Iāve been a frequent customer of the Ceres location since they opened. Iāve never had an issue there except one time in the parking lot when another customer almost hit my vehicle other than that, never had an issue with the staff. well today, I did. thereās two lanes. I pulled into the right lane. there were cars in the left. cars pulled up behind me. now thereās two lanes of cars full. so the person to the left ordered. and then another. and then another. so then I pulled up to order because I felt I waited a sufficient amount of time and also I didnāt want the cars behind me to get upset cuz I wasnāt moving. then the lady in the white Jeep Cherokee started honking and cussing, in front of a family and children, screaming she was here first and trying to hit my car. Well the barista taking orders, Sarah went inside. I told the lady in the Jeep theres two lanes, two cars ahead of her already went and ordered so itās supposed to go every other after that. She kept screaming so I rolled up my window and didnāt interact with her. well the assistant manager Mikey came out and only came to me, not the lady cussing in front of everyone and told me Iām always causing a problem and I always bring problems to them and cause issues and I was like wait what? the lady was honking and cussing at me, how am I the problem? he kept talking and putting it all on me and just kept saying Iām the problem. I told him since theyāve opened I havenāt had an issue and he said yes you have(the reason I brought up the issue earlier in my comment) but again, that wasnāt really an issue, I JOKINGLY said in that earlier interaction she doesnāt wanna try me or something and he brought that up. that was completely out of context. Iāve never been spoken to like that, ESPECIALLY by an assistant manager. I told him because of the way heās speaking to me, heās made me extremely uncomfortable and I donāt feel good about coming back and that I was going to follow up with the manager and the owner. he said good Iāll call him too and let him know about you and whatās happened, trying to intimidate me and Iām like uhhh okay. and then he didnāt take my order, no one did until I got to the window but they took everyone elseās. never been treated like that before from an establishment. I ended up waiting until 8:20, and when I went to check, my drink was just sitting there completely melted. The employee working the window on (9/9/25) around 8am seemed disorganized and inattentive, and it made the whole experience frustrating. I expect better service and care, especially when ordering ahead.
