Ok ,guys here goes another review ... @amorytacos Let me start off by saying "I have been wanting to go here for a while !" First off ..it's located in a shopping center so there is plenty to of parking . You would not expect to walk in to an awesome latino inspired art and decorations that somehow all come together to give it a unique relaxed vibe ..not some uppity place where you feel awkward or rushed .We were give paper manues with awesome descriptions of what they had.as we sat there many plates passed us by ,I saw some freaken delicious looking wet burritos, some green enchiladas and best part, literally sat right behind this awesome woman aventando tortillas , I mean ..what more could you want ?I started off with the drinks .we ordered a flight of their Margaritas ..Mango Amor and Pineapple.. they all came with a.mexican paleta and they were just Bam on point ,not too sweet ..but with the right kick along with the Mule and The Chapo Beware on the menu it says starters we thought small servings..so we ordered some delicious chorizo gorditas and some chicharron When they came they were huge lmao .the Gorditas were packed with the perfect chorizo not too dry or fried or quemado ni too spicy . But just soft ,flavorful chorizo ..it had some sourcream quesito and some thinly slice rabanos ,frijoles negros and I think some salsa verde or guac and some crunchy ,sweet and sour pickled purple onions..🤤🤤🤤honestly I was a fatty and ate it ..but let me tell you the masa of the gordita was fried to perfection crispy on the outside but soft and not too firm on the Inside ,the masa tasted like masa not sour or old or like Maseca lol it was dam goodness. The chicharron was puffed and warm when it came to our table now this isn't the meat carrying, grueso chicharron you get at el super. This was puffy ,thin, crunchy clear browned to perfection chicharon topped with some quesito pickled purple onions (they are delicious 🤤) and tajin, limon but not too much and some oil I may be wrong . I had a few drinks and let me tell you the chicharron was not soggy or tasted viejo when it cooled ,it maintained its crunch. We also had birria tacos 🔥🔥🔥#amorytacos

We have been coming here since they first opened. The food has stayed consistently good and so has the service. Ambiance: this is a really fun vibe. It’s a great place to bring dates or friends. They have a lot of colorful decor and I love the paintings they have up. Food: The food is good. The chips are nice - you tell it’s freshly made. The salsa that it comes with is flavorful and well seasoned. They also have this amazing habanero salsa, you pay a little extra for it but if you like spicy food I highly recommend it. I do feel it’s a bit disappointing that they charge $5 for chips and salsa. They used to give the first round for free and ask before they brought it so it wasn’t wasted. For appetizers, I recommend the mole tots. Note: if you generally don’t like a mole sauce, you don’t like these. The mole tots are something that I haven’t found anywhere else. The mix of the sauce, crispy tots, cheese, and salsa is delicious. It’s a huge portion size so more of a shareable appetizer. I also like the potato taquitos. They’re not the best I’ve ever had but they are good. The green sauce that it comes with definitely enhances the flavor. I think the filling just needs a bit more seasoning and then it’d be perfect. For entrees, I think their cheese enchiladas are okay. If you don’t eat them immediately when it’s hot, the cheese does congeal within 25 minutes so it’s not the best. I also think their red sauce needs a bit more seasoning. I do recommend the veggie tacos, they are well flavored and I love the fresh tortillas. The wet burrito is nice but they’ve switched over to white rice and I think that takes away from the flavor. I will say that before the switch the wet burrito was my go to entree. Drinks: they have some great cocktail options. I prefer their margaritas and their draft house beer. Price: it’s a reasonable priced restaurant. We got 2 drinks, 1 appetizer, and 1 entree per person and it came out to about $50/person. Insta: @TheShahLALand

Amor y Tacos serves fresh food with delicious flavors. Everytime I'm here I feel at home with the great vibes, oldies Spanish music and great customer service. In my experience, everyone is treated with superb service. I always get treated like a VIP. My usual is the Chile relleno burger. This burger is served with tater tots. The beef patty (Medium well) was full of flavors and the cheese was to die for. Literally. I am lactose intolerant but this burger is the exception. The aguas are so fresh you thing your momma is in the back making it. Fresh tortillas are being made by lovely ladies just as you enter the restaurant. The salted caramel churros is a must try. I also tried the tres leches cake which was one of the best tres leches I ever had. I am convinced that it's actually a cuatro leches cake due to the richness and creaminess of the slice. The micheladas are so delicious that one will not be enough. The margaritas so delicious with many flavors to choose from. We had the watermelon and again one was not enough. After the delicious meal I had to sit and recuperate since I was in a food coma. This is really a gem that you must try. Anything in the menu will not disappoint you. If you do chose to be here on a Sunday, you will be serenaded by live mariachi band who will ask for guest for their favorite song for them to sing. I am so grateful for Amor y Tacos. You have an eternal customer with me.

It was a fiesta for the taste buds! Our server, Karla T, was an absolute gem - attentive, friendly, and full of great recommendations. Let me tell you about the mouthwatering dishes we had: First up, MOLE TOTS. Imagine crispy potato tots smothered in their 21-ingredient house-made Amor mole, topped with queso, cilantro, red onion, radish, and sour cream. To die for! Then we cleansed our pallets on Mango Con Chile cocktails, and snacked on the delicious CHIPS & SALSA and a side of GUACAMOLE Next, we dove into CALAMARI FAMOSO - tender flash-fried calamari steak strips served with a zesty lemon caper & chipotle aioli, cilantro, shishito peppers, and cotija. A definite crowd-pleaser! The COCA-COLA GLAZED PORK BELLY melted in the mouth! Slow-roasted pork belly with a sweet Mexican Coke and ancho chile glaze, sweet potato puree, roasted cherry tomatoes, fennel arugula salad, red onion, and sesame seeds. Such a unique and flavorful dish! We couldn't resist the TOUR DE TACO (5 tacos per order, all gluten-free). Served with rice and beans on corn tortillas, it was a taco lover's dream. The ESQUITES were yummy- roasted corn, garlic mayo, cotija, chile powder, and cilantro. A must-try! We ended the feast with CHURROS W/SALTED CARAMEL and HORCHATA ICE CREAM. The churros, coated in sugar and canela, were perfectly crispy.

Husband and I stopped in for dinner on our way to a Ducks game, and man, am I glad we did. First, the vibe of the place was really nice - it felt elevated and kinda moody with dark wood, low lights, and huge pieces of art on the wall. We were seated immediately (right next to the station where someone was making tortillas) and a server appeared almost right after we settled in. I ordered a pomegranate margarita that was so, SO good. I wish I could have gotten a pitcher. I think the secret was in the house-made sour mix. Definitely could have drank these for my dinner. We both ordered a three taco plate - I ordered the rajas (poblano peppers, onions, salsa de árbol, arugula, pickled radish, and cotija), asada, and carnitas. Husband ordered the asada, carnitas, and al pastor. I really enjoyed the rajas taco, especially with the picked radish. My husband said the asada was his favorite, and we both enjoyed the rice and beans. They reminded me of something you’d eat at home, in that they had a homemade quality to them, not like they’d been sitting in a dish since the start of service. We also really enjoyed the chips and salsa and could have easily filled up on those instead of our food. So glad those kept coming. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area!

I'm blessed with five BFF's for the past 50 years and we have celebrated each other's birthdays together for all of these years! So my bestie Jeri chose Amor Y Tacos for our outing today too celebrate her 59th birthday It was all of our first time too this restaurant and the funny thing is that it is 10 minutes from my home and I didn't even know. Well from the moment we arrived the waitress was delightfully sweet and the atmosphere was warm and friendly and casually welcoming. The waitress Kristin V., who was assigned to our table was very friendly and helpful plus had great menu suggestions which made us feel welcomed All of the food was delicious and tasty and the cocktails were even better. Then to top it off the dessert was so good Horchata Ice Cream and Churros so delicious The only issue we all had was the restaurant did not supply Chips and Salsa at this Mexican restaurant too our surprise 😮 so we had to purchase some which is not usually the case at an Mexican restaurant 🤷🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ But I'm sure I will be back with my husband since it's near my house and priced reasonably well. Thank you to Kristin for outstanding customer service she should be applauded for that extra measure of care we truly appreciated it thank you.
