Norland Pub, Inc. — Restaurant in Chambersburg

This place has gone downhill, my wife and I have come here a few times but this last time will be the last. One of the main ladies who works there. Her name is Gina was very rude and ruined the whole experience for us. We came and ate food. I myself consumed a few drinks and my wife had one drink right away then switched to water. She is driving home because we are responsible adults. Well needless to say after spending almost two hours there we paid our bill and the service was great up until we went to leave. We were out the door and starting into the parking lot when Gina came running out and asked my wife for her I.D. in the parking lot. Then she asked if we had been carded already. We thought at first maybe my wife had let her I.D. at the table by accident. But without saying why or explaining she took my wife’s ID and went back inside and we didn’t see her for another 5 minutes. Then Gina comes back and tells us that she had people texting her and saying my wife was 19. The waitress had already taken our ID’s and gave us no issue. My wife is 23 and although it might be a compliment to her looks it was really disappointing how Gina acted. She was very disrespectful about everything and we don’t appreciate being treated as such. All she had to say was “ma’am is it okay if I take your ID and scan it really quick to confirm your legally of age?” We would have completely understood and been okay with it. But to run off with my wife’s ID without saying anything is very pathetic. So she took it without telling us anything and walked us back into the pub. She acted as though she had a little posse running the place and who thought they knew everybody. And texted her when they thought Some one was underage. We went to this place maybe 4 times a year. But we will never again. She treated us as if we were criminals and yet she allows shouting and clearly drunk immature people walking around. But us responsible adults can’t even walk out to our vehicle. This place has been ruined to Gina. It sucks because we really did enjoy it while it lasted. Maybe she should throw out her little posse and get some more...

Overall an enjoyable time, as well as delicious food and drinks. They offer a variety of your basic bar/pub food items that are reasonably priced. Austin was our server and he far exceeded expectations and more. He consistently made sure we had everything we needed throughout the entire time we were enjoying our food, drink and conversation; however, he wasn't burdensome/bothersome in any way which was nice. Overall, pricing was more than fair/reasonable, as we were a party of four that indulged in appetizers, wings and a couple/few draught beers for three of the four individuals in our party and the total bill was under $100 not including the tip. The food quality was above average and I would certainly recommend the Norland Pub to anyone looking for a bite to eat in a relaxed atmosphere. Try it, I'm sure you'll like it. Visited the Norland Pub yet again. It was just as good as every other time I've gone. This visit was on a Friday night, there were a lot more customers and they had the staff available to ensure everyone had what they wanted, needed and then some. I wholeheartedly believe that everyone needs to drop in and check it out for themselves. It's definitely on my go to list of places to eat, drink...

Called earlier see if take reservations. Perso. Said not for today. Went there, im handicapped and I had to get dropped off. Went in got on wait list and while waiting heard other people had reservations when I was told they didn't. Never had been here before. They want3d to seat us with no back for chair. Im disabled and need a full size chair. Got a 2 seat table, waited 20 min for waitress to take our order. Had to go to the bar order our drinks. Ordered wings, shrimp, cheeseburger club. Took forever, ordered another round of drinks and different waitresscame to table and said we should order more drinks now if want more drinks. So we did. Waited another 20 min done our food before drinks were served. Then asked how everything was. Shrimp was good, boneless wings were hard to chew, cheeseburger club was okay. Only thing we really liked were the fresh cut fries. Its also to noisy can barely hear each other talk. Just seemed like we were not important just two of us. Attempted to use the restroom waitress said for me to use, and it was steps to get to. Im not able to go up the steps at this time. I had open heart surgery, steps are extremely hard. So we left and I had to go somewhere else to use...
