Pat & Carla's III — Restaurant in Chambersburg

Let me state first, that overall I love this place. My family and I are very frequent patrons, spend a decent amount every order PLUS tips & the food is great..HOWEVER, I'm leaving this review because not only did the order arrive later than due, everything (mozz sticks/fries/pizza/onion rings soggy, even though "well done" was requested when ordered was cold & the sub (which was barely warm). I immediately called and the girl who answered the phone said she was "Sorry, I don't know how it was cold..I saw the driver put in the heat bag" and offered for me to pack up the food and they will re-deliver or 20% off my next order. Thank you, but no thank you. 1st..NO, the driver did not because she pulled everything from off her backseat..it was in an open box, NOT a heat bag. 2nd..I opted to re-heat this food vs. wait almost another hour for my family to eat the supper they've been patiently waiting on already. My boyfriend and I love this pizza shop!! They have great pizza and great Italian food items. The $9.99 dinners are great!! These dinners include the perfect portion of food, a nice little salad and the most scrumptious baked bread. The bread might be might favorite thing. I usually get the lasagna or the baked shells. The pizza is also amazing!! They make great dough and the sauce on the pizza is a good pizza sauce. Not sweet, just your typical pizza sauce. Everything they serve is the typical stuff you get from a pizza shop and it all tastes like a typical pizza shop. For example: say you’re from out of town and you’re in the mood for pizza or Italian food and you want it taste like your hometown pizza shop then this is the place to choose. There are 3 Pat and Carla's in the area. Drive the extra 5-10 minutes to number I or II. I eat at Pat and Carla's at least once a week. Dine in, take out, and delivery. Tonight I ordered take out via phone and get there 10-15 minutes before they said. Waited about 15-20 minutes, then instead of getting the fresh pizza I was waiting on, I was given someone else's that was sitting 2 boxes high on the top of the oven instead, a pizza I watched come out 15 minutes prior....so I waited for essentially nothing and didn't get the hot pizza I was hoping for. Made no sense to me, didn't say anything because who I assume was the manager or owner clearly couldn't care less. It's a shame because this one is closest to my house, but I'm happy to go to Saint Thomas instead and 10/10 reccomend Pat and Carla's II as an...
