Dollar General — Local services in Chambersburg

I requested a package be delivered and picked up from this dollar general. When i saw fedex was the carrier i did not trust them to wait for my signature or to outright steal my package. Fedex tracking stated they delivered the package so i called the store but got no answer. So i went there to pick it up. Guy with rotten teeth that works there says he doesn't have it. This was monday. I call fedex and they say their scans show it was delivered. They try to call the store, no answer. This was tuesday. Wednesday rolls around i call corporate, they try to call the store, NO ANSWER. They ignore their own corporate calls.i call fedex again they say they will send their driver up there to find out what happened. Dollar general staff tells them they dont have it. Fedex conducts an investigation, they determine the package was delivered from their security footage. Driver goes back to store, tells them they have proof the package was delivered and low and behold they finally find it. I get notified by fedex that the package is ready to be picked up. This is my second trip there as was the fedex drivers. I walk in and ask for package. Guy with rotten teeth there trys to get the package and play it off like nothing happened. I ask what happened and i was greeted immediately with an attitude, that he doesn't know what the morning crew did, ignoring the fact that I interacted with him on monday and he did not get me the package that supposedly was there the whole time. I went ahead and opened the package right in front of him to make sure my expensive new phone was there, and he proceeds to give me more attitude saying things like "no one took your phone" Not even an apology. I told him this wasn't over and walked out. Contacted corporate and spoke to the district manager. He said the right things but i didnt get a sense that he really took it seriously or cared. I wasted a good 2 hours of my time and FedEx probably more than that, during holiday seaswon which was not fair to them. I will never shop there or pick up a package there ever again.

Love Dollar Generals, but this store is different. Every other isle is blocked and you can not get through the store without skipping the isle you want to go to. There are boxes stacked everywhere, large metal dollies full of stuff blocking every other isle and a dirty feel to it compared to other stores. They have sale signs up and when you check out, you are told they aren't on sale. The manager goes and checks the price and says they aren't on sale. I went into the store to return an Amazon item since it was listed as a Fedex option. All the employees had to do was scan it like they are ringing up an item, and 2 associates can't even manage this. The first lady acted like I asked them to run a 5K because they wouldn't even try.
