This morning was our second time to this location as it is a convenient stop on our way out of town. Both times have not been satisfactory. This time in the drive thru, the guy taking our order kept rushing us. Ordered the first item and he says “is that all?” My husband replies no and adds another item. Kid then again says “ok, is that it?” So my husband replies, no with a short pause and then adds another item. The kid then replies, “I already sent your order up.” As the total presents itself on the screen with the menu. So obviously we were a bit confused. So my husband then explains that we have more to order. The kid then tells us he already sent our order and we need to pull up to the first window if we want to add anything. So we pull up and explain what happened to the man at the first window. Which he was a VERY nice older gentleman. I believe he may be fairly new to the job, cause he told us he wasn’t sure how to modify an order so he needed to get someone to help him. So in all the chaos and confusion, we lost our train of thought as far as where we were in the order sequence. A lady comes and adds the 2 more meals to the order and we pay. As we’re pulling away from the first window we realize we forgot the bag of ice we need. So we pull up the second window and ask the girl if they still sell bags of ice. She tells us yes so my husband asks if we can get one. She looks at us in complete amazement and says “sir, I have 6 cars behind you. I cannot sell you a bag of ice from here”. As a business owner myself, I would be extremely disappointed in one of our employees had they said that to a customer. Even if the bag of ice is a more difficult item to grab and get out the drive thru window quickly, I would have been more then happy to pay for the ice and then pull around to one of the spots they have the drive thru cars park to wait when items take longer and they have to have someone run it out to the car. I understand the desire to appease the cars in the drive thru behind us. However, had our order not been cut off in the middle of ordering it and we could have just continued to order all our items without the kid cutting us off and “sending our order up” we wouldn’t be asking for it at the second window. Order was missing a hash brown which seems to be the norm these days. Getting a drive thru order correct the first time is not a reality anymore. Then the icing on the cake today after all that, $40+ in food and there was literally ONE napkin in the bag. ONE! Mind you, we had multiple hotcakes meals which means syrups, the new spicy breakfast sandwich with a ton of sauce all over the sandwich, wrapper and then myself. Thankfully I have water wipes I keep in the car. And we grabbed napkins from the gas station across the street when we went to buy ice. Obviously these issues are not life changing but come on people. Have some pride in your job, learn customer service. Make the experience a little less chaotic for...
Read moreI can't rate any if it because when I pulled up, someone on the intercom said they weren't open. Even though it clearly states online they are 24/7. Which is why I drove out of my way to go to that particular McDonald's. When I mentioned that, the same person responded with "it's painted on the window in front of the building that we open at 4am, if you can read, you'd know we don't open until then."
Excuse me? That's cool... cause I drove to the drive through which is located in the back of their building and it also where I entered from the street. So I never saw the front of the building. Regardless, fix your settings online and quit misguiding people to believe otherwise. I also could have waited another 15min until 4am came around but, after being spoken to so rudely I didn't want to even a little bit. Hopefully that employee can read this and know there's something called "customer service" that your employer pays you to do. Little piece of advice, try being nice once in a while and maybe reviews like this won't bring your employers ratings down on public platform. Good luck...
Read moreFor the third time I did not get what I ordered. Recently when ordering at the drive thru I paid for a large double quarter ponder w/cheese meal. Got home and was surprised by the single quarter pounder in the bag. A few days later ordered a #7 2 cheeseburger meal at the drive thru. They supplied one of the burgers without cheese. Tonight ordered a large double quarter pounder with cheese meal with a diet coke. Had to go back to the counter twice before I finally got the correct drink. Sat down to eat and got another f'd up double quarter pounder this time with no cheese on the burger. This time I asked for a refund and told the manager(Cindy) she really needs to train her staff. Maybe they have a rat problem since they seem to have a problem putting cheese on a "cheeseburger". Add insult to injury...I'll bet the folks that work here are making $12-$15 an hour. I won't be returning to this location nor will I suggest anyone...
