DO NOT GO HERE *support a different local pizzeria *Worst customer service me and my family ever experienced. Julia(the owner)was rude, obnoxious and very condescending.as a business owner myself this was a nightmare of an experience.I just had a brand new baby and had family over to meet her, our food was delivered with the cheese and toppings stuck to the top of the box as well as the family size chicken parmesan was extremely overcooked with hard, dry pieces of chicken. We showed the driver right away the pizzas,he apologized, told us to keep them and to call the restaurant to make new ones to be re-delivered. We did just that, but instead of a simple apology from the owner,Julia she bashed me calling me a liar, telling me she's going to fire the delivery guy and the cooks of 25yrs bc the driver shouldn't have let us keep the pizza and he told her only one slice was messed up. Obviously if it was just one slice we wouldn't have cared and he wouldn't have been so apologetic to us either. After her bullying ruined my entire evening i told her i was going to leave a review sharing this horrendous customer service experience she then said in a babies voice "now that would be really rude of you to do that and I wouldn't want for business anymore". Well my pleasure, i would never want to support an owner who treats people this way. She personally attacked me,and from other reviews on their Facebook page it looks like I wasn't the only one she's done this to. I have well over 20 family members and friends who would go here and we all are going elseelsew. There's other local pizza places with awesome food and owners who actually are nice and understanding to...
Read moreThis restaurant used to be our family go to. In the past few years things have gone progressively downhill. I would not return. We were there on the Saturday before Eastee and I have to say the service was horrible. We have been customers for a long long time and whenever we have family in town from Illinois they always want to go to rosati's. We brought them on Saturday and had the worst experience we ever had there. First not having high chairs or booster chairs is crazy. We had three kids under three with us. That is information that should be on your website or your Facebook page at least. Second our order was wrong. My dad got sausage pizza which he loves and we were given a cheese pizza. We had already waited so long we weren't going to wait to have another pizza cooked but we were still charged for that pizza. Second we had three orders of wings that didn't come out with the pizza. Two came out about 10 minutes later and clearly had been barbecue wings that the barbecue sauce was wiped off of and then hot wing sauce was put on them. They tasted super weird. The third order of wings we had to ask for three times and they finally came out at the end of the meal. We were charged for all three of them. And third all of our soda was flat and we had to request new sodas. That took about 10 minutes also and the server acted like we were horrible for even asking for new sodas. But at least we got those sodas because we never got refills after that. Totally a horrific experience and embarrassing to bring out of town family there. I also contacted the restaurant through Facebook and...
Read moreThis is one of the three Original Rosati's locations in the East Valley. The owners happen to be related to, and use the recipe by, the Rosati's family in Chicago. Yes, the prices are more $$ than other pizzarias, but you do get what you pay for. Having moved here in 2011, I've found a much smaller pool of options for quality pizza in the Valley compared to every other street corner in Chicago... but this particular Rosati's has the recipe down right! While we usually do Take-Out, and travel out of our way to get it, we have been known to spend a weekend afternoon there to watch a Bears game now & then.
And the staff has always tried to provide good service to us, and without attitude. Everyone's entitled to their opinion but, having been there dozens of times, I haven't lived some of the stated negative experiences I've read. The atmosphere will harken any Chicago native back with familiarity and without pretense. (The newspaper clippings of Riverview and Skip's Drive-In near its restrooms are priceless!) I don't sit at the bar, so I'm not a good resource for that. And, as consumers, we HAVE been taught the basics of always checking our charge slips, right??
Yes, it would be nice if the pizza was 20% cheaper, but its quality is spot on to this Chicago Italian! I'll grant you that people's tastes may differ. But if you don't like this particular location's pizza, with all due respect, you've likely not experienced quality pizza. People can have legit disagreements on individual preferences toward sauce, seasonings, toppings, crust or even price... but its Quality...
