From The Heart — Restaurant in Chapel Hill

We ate here tonight as this is usually my husbands favorite spot to eat but the past couple of times we’ve ate supper here it hasn’t been the best but we gave it a shot and sadly half of our order was burnt. We got 3 chicken nugget meals and the kids couldn’t bite into the chicken because it was so overly cooked, we got fried pickles and there were no pickles in the batter, they had been fried away Im assuming. My husband got a burger with onion rings and they were also burnt. I took a picture of the onion rings but forgot to get pics of everything else before I took it back inside to change it. We switched the kids meals to burgers and they recooked the pickles and they look a lot better.

We just ate here tonight although it was not busy the food service was slow. The burger was very dry. The kids packed up their chicken nuggets to feed to our puppies. My side came out wrong but Iam mostly writing this on what I witnessed 4x with employees tonight.Particularly I believe the owners kids. The young girl I witnessed many times in front of employees be rude to a middle age blonde woman. I watched the son sling close fridge doors and step in the face of this woman all while she stayed calm and kind. Kudos to you lady because if my bosses kids treated me like that they would lose teeth then I would tell them where they could put their job. We ordered delivery tonight, I’ve been struggling lately and really needed some comfort food. We ordered $40 worth and didn’t get half of what we ordered… we ordered 2 bacon cheese burgers with fries, a side of Mac n cheese, a chocolate shake, Dr Pepper, and fried twinkies, all we received was 2 burgers and fries….not to mention my burger was so soggy that I couldn’t even hold onto it. The mustard, tomato, and pickle were all on the bottom bun… so instead of enjoying a nice burger with Mac n cheese and a chocolate milk shake all I had was a burger patty with cheese for dinner tonight. I knew I shouldn’t have ordered from here again after our drinks were missing last time but I figured that I would try again and include special instructions not to forget our drinks….
