Scoops On The Loop — Restaurant in Chariton

Super disappointing to even write this because I really want another great ice cream place in town. The building is cute and fun with some great tasting ice cream. We've spent a lot of money at this place as regular customers since it opened. Our last visit consisted of approximately $30 on ice cream. The first item (banana split) was given to us and about 30 minutes later we received the remaining three medium hurricanes. Two of the hurricanes were not what we ordered. I think the kid who took the order entered it wrong? Simple mistake but we were told that's what we ordered. We don't even order the flavor they brought us so there's no way we would have ordered it but not worth arguing over. By this time the banana split was completely liquid. I notified the manager via fb messenger after this large disappointment thinking she might want to know what occured to followup or as a teaching moment for employees. Apparently this platform is more effective with feedback as I see replies from the business which is better than the silence the manager gave me. A simple apology for the errors goes a long ways. Nothing else required. That clearly tells this customer that the business doesn't care. It's sad because we tried so many times to support this place despite people talking poorly of it. I was excited to try Scoops on the loop, as it appeared to be the old "mom and pop" style restaurant. We stopped for a quick bite, and I was disappointed by the food. Everything was fried, so grease is to be expected, but this was beyond the norm for greasy. Cheesballs were warm at best, and the jalapeño crab bites were the same. Ordered food for 4 people and spend $55 which included the tip. 2 breaded tenderloins, walking taco, jalapeño crab poppers, fries, bottle of water and three fountain rootbeers.
