Ji Pizza — Restaurant in Charleston

Well let’s start by saying they told me 25 mins and I showed up in 25 mins and the pizza was cold. But here is the worst part. They took my card to a different machine and then tipped them selves 20 percent for me walking in and getting what I ordered. So that will be handled with a simple change back. Don’t trust them with your card they will steal your money. Pizza was not very good. They charge a high price because James island does not have many choices and we are getting ripped off. Papa John’s would have been better and then on top they change us to use a debit card??? As if they are not marking up the pizza 600 percent. Fine doing does it get this markup. Here’s my device pick up a pizza from Papa John’s or just don’t get pizza before you go back to this place. It’s for the employee that decided to steal the $12 off my credit card it’s considered fraud, but luckily I’m just gonna charge it back because I would truly like to see them handcuffed. They’ll steal $12 from you before they would give you a dollar off for their coal pizza. By the way, it was $55 for 2 18inch pizzas. The day we get a Papa Johns island This place is probably gonna go out of business the sooner the better. I’ve never had a national chain, steal money off my credit card. So I guess you can support the local business that steals your money and hope you don’t notice. I’m still confused on what I was tipping when I walked into the restaurant which is only take out and pick up my pizza that they charge me $55 for???? I hope they fire the employee that committed fraud on my credit card. I recommend you cancel any credit card you use this place because if most companies will steal your money by adding tips to amounts that you never authorized, they will also sell...

We've ordered from JI a few times in the last 2 weeks after a 2 year hiatus (due to bad service and under/over cooked pizza. When they first opened we couldn't get enough.but then A few years back the service started getting horrible.We were never able to call in our order even on slow nights.phone would ring and ring.If the messed up your order they actually accused the customer of ordering it wrong.the staff were completely oblivious.they yelled and argued with customers (I witnessed this on many occasions)But low and behold the sun hasn't set for this restaurant.the owner must have started reading the reviews because they are back on top.We ended up being forced to go a few weeks back (empty refrigerator and no time to cook that night if I did shop)So I ordered fro JI for the first time in over 2 years.I'm so glad we gave it another chance.looks like a completely different staff.and they are so nice.The young girl who takes the orders is pleasant and professional.the pizza has been top notch.Hot,perfectly cooked with fresh ingredients.It is the JI pizza I fell in love with when they first opened.Keep up the good work guys.sidenote* if you are calling in on a busy night.be patient.the girl who awnsers the phone is also ringing up the completed orders when the staff is busy in the back.either keep trying patiently or order on site and do some shopping next door.it will...

When my wife and I moved to Johns Island two years ago, we spent our first 12 months in the area getting our weekly Friday night pizza from either Pizza Hut or Domino's. We didn't know any better. I was greeted by the scent of the most freshly grated cheese I have ever had the pleasure of inhaling in my lifetime. The perfect ratio of pie to crust; a thing of exquisite beauty.
