I just did a mcvoice survey and shared that the biggest challenges employers are having is finding folks that want to work. Sadly covid has made many of us less reliable. The government offering assistance is a real menace as well. Taking tax payers dollars and rewarding people for being flat out lazy is in my opinion, a dumb way to getting us to a good place. Granted, I'm familiar with A.I. and the changes predicted in our future. However, at present, I think the restuarant industry needs a shake up. For starters, they need to find and promote people who can be cordial and make eye contact. Finding managers that are compassionate and understanding as well as good at promoting from within. Remember, we all experienced covid. Nobody is immune. So how is it that some folks seem to stay gainfully employed while doing virtually nothing? In the military we called it es·prit de corps. Having a sence of pride and fellowship shared by members of a particular group. Instill this into your people, our nation, and you will/we will, survive any plague or change...
Read moreTerrible customer service! Went fairly late at night so the wait for fresh nuggets was expected. Also ordered a couple frappes for our drive home to Michigan. My sister ordered a slushie, without hesitation, the girl at the counter said they don't have them anymore. We accepted it. While waiting, I played with the kiosk and just out of curiosity wanted to check prices, they had only one slushie flavor left, the one we asked for. The girl at the counter was unprofessional, looked sloppy, and treated us like we were in her way. She was more interested in talking to her co-workers. I understand it's late but don't lie to your customers, if you're not sure, ask someone, and don't treat people like an inconvenience. It's the customers that keep you having a job. The staff in the back seemed nice but due to the poor service and attitude, will never come back to...
Read moreOne of the worst McDonald's experiences I've had in a long time. Unfriendly cashier, roller her eyes and looked displeased with incoming customers. She had fake nails and some were missing, more than likely from her persistanly ichy scalp. After watching her scratch her scalp multiple times, I witnessed her grab a container of fries (from the top without gloves) and lay them on someone's tray. Our fries were unsalted raw potatoes. My husband asked for only onion to be removed from his quarter pounder, but they removed everything but the cheese (ie. no ketchup, mustard, or pickle). Additionally, service was indedibly slow for the time of day. If the service had been slow and no other problems would have occurred, it would not have been an issue...
