South Side Cafe — Restaurant in Charleston

It's my favorite diner of all time. Everything is really good, it's well priced and the owners are really cool humans. They are one of the few places that can actually cook hashbrowns well. The coffee does make me have to pee all the time, but that isn't their fault. They have some booths, or you can sit at the bar. Classic breakfast fair with some lunch options. I've had the burgers, and they're okay, but breakfast here is my favorite. They have daily specials, some baked goods and really nice wreaths. They do close in the early afternoon, so get in early. I usually get the breakfast. Today I got the philly steak. It had great flavor But it was presented in a manner which I had never seen. It was all one piece of sirloin that hadn't been broken up and it was on a toasted hamburger bun. My gf had a turkey burger and broccoli cheese soup. She was very satisfied with both. There is not ONE thing to complain about in any regard to South Side! I have been going to eat here since I was a teenager in 2016, and due to its warm, cozy atmosphere it's made me some core-memories in the winter-time year after year!
