I go here every week mind you at 3:30 in the afternoon try to get a fried pork chop meal they were very dry and old every time I've been there this is how they've been for the past 3 months I then asked if they going to cook some more they told me no that they were going to sell the old ones they had first before they did anything else when I went to get my phone to come back and take pictures of how disgusting they were they pulled them out. they were literally dried up old and nasty when I was younger and when Wallace and his children ran this place it was amazing I don't know who runs the kitchen now actually I do but we're not going to go into that but it's trash literal trash they used to have good chicken and fried fish they really need to do better for such a large restaurant with such a large name they need to do better honestly and honestly it's not the management or the people running it but maybe if management did more than their staff would do what they're supposed to to get their food cooked properly highly disappointed in boomland /...

We were able to meet my family there yesterday, and have an impromptu Christmas gathering. It was a halfway point for all of us. They suggested that we eat at Wally‘s and that it was good, but after reading all the reviews I was very skeptical. You walk in, and they have a huge cafeteria line where you walk down and pick what you like. We ranged from fried chicken, chicken and dumplings, baked chicken, roasted beef, mashed potatoes, fried okra, and some other mismatch things. I have to tell you this place far surpassed my expectations. The chicken was absolutely amazing the dumplings were freaking wonderful. It was like just eating in grandma‘s kitchen. Everything had a great flavor it was hot and ready to go! The desert was moist and super sweet. Staff was wonderful easy to deal with and made...

I order by phone not sure about the food I was getting cause I had never eaten there before or heard anything about them as I found them on the web but found no menus. Someone from Quality Inn hotel in Charleston Missouri went and picked it up for me as I am disabled and man I'm glad I picked the restaurant that food was delicious the chicken was nice and juicy the green beans were nice and yummy and those potatoes I don't know if they're real potatoes or if they're fake pages but they were delicious and let's not forget dessert that cheesecake that was to die for thank you and the young lady on the phone that took my order she was an absolute sweetheart it seems like Charleston has a lot of those and she's a one-of-a-kind thank you...

I asked the lady in the serving line of the mashed potatoes are real or instant, said they are real. They are NOT. I called and asked them to please correct her because i would've chose another side if she had been honest. Not what I call honestyle cooking, at least not where i grew up or how i cook in my house. Chicken is very good, but the salmon pattie was very dense, heavy and just not too my liking. I would stop again for the chicken only.

Stopped to grab a bite to eat, the fried chicken was delicious and fried to perfection. The Catfish was also yummy but a bit over priced. Let's not forget about the greenbeans oh so good! The cornbread was very dry and bland. The cafeteria style restaurant menu is ala cart. There was plenty of seating and the staff was friendly.
