Crispy Banh Mi — Restaurant in Charlotte

I heard that there is a good banh mi place so i decided to try it out, as a Vietnamese person who has many banh mi in my life time im a bit disappointed with the dryness and lack of season of the banh mi dac biet, the lack of sourness of the carrot and daikon even the jalapeno didnt have that extra kick of heat I wanted like it wasnt at all fresh, now I didn't want to just only have one and judge it base on that so I ordered the shredded pork and they told me they did not have it so I then asked for the shredded beef again I got the same respond (like really?) I ended up going with the bbq pork and oh my was that a mistake the dryness and lack of season is even worst then the dac biet and I instantly just gave up, I did also order the mango tango smoothie and all I got was strawberry and orange along with a butt load of sugar. The only reason why I gave it a 2 star is cause of the grilled pork that my friend ordered, that is the only one I recommend and a life saver to...

While out running errands, I was reminded of a conversation 2 days earlier, where I was asked about this particular restaurant. I described to a friend of mine what Banh Mi sandwiches generally consisted of; with all of the fresh vegetables and a crispy baguette style roll. And these sandwiches did not disappoint. The baguette was phenomenal; crispy on the outside, with a soft chewy center that held the vegetables and meats together perfectly... I was not disappointed. All of the cut vegetables were fresh and each sandwich was made to order. Doesn't get much better than this. If you've eaten Banh Mi sandwiches before, then you know exactly what I'm talking about.
