Kassia African Braiding — Local services in Charlotte

I wasn't going to leave a review at all. But here I am 3 weeks later and my natural hair is coming through the twist and some are unraveling. I chose this shop after reading several positive reviews. Once I arrived at the braiding shop and entered, I felt as If I was in the wrong place. It wasn’t clean, it had an odor, and I wasn't satisfied with my hair. I was Ok with it, not fully satisfied. After being there 8 hours, for medium Senegalese twist, and being the last customer, I did not want to be there any longer. The owner was friendly and so was the lady that actually twisted my hair. I thought I would be returning, but I serious doubt it. My hair started looking awful 2 weeks in. As stated earlier, this is week 3 and I’m about to take my hair down and go elsewhere. 180.00 plus tip gone down the drain. I’m starting to wonder if there is a different location with this name, because what I’ve read in the reviews is not what I got at all.

How I ended up here was random. I had an appointment elsewhere but the style I was getting was going to take over 6 hours & I had last min things come up & needed a style with less time. So I'm online looking for open shops who will take me same day! Long & behold Kassia. I did think she was going to be the one to braid my hair because I'm particular & she was the one I spoke with. But nope it was her sister. Who happens to be an aries like Mmwaw! Anywho, yes! They got me right immediately! My hair was so adorrrable chunky chest length box braids.
