Editing again: I made a Benny at home yesterday. Took half an hour. Was about a 7.5/10. I am not a good cook. If I can make an eggs Benedict that is enormously better than what you serve then you need to get a new cook.
Editing review after speaking with restaurant. The people I spoke to were very nice and professional and offered a makeup meal. I turned down the makeup meal because I don't trust a cook who can't make a decent hollandaise (it's a very basic sauce anyone can make at home), but I've revised my rating because the customer service was as excellent as the food was awful.
They need to take the Benedict off the menu because they don't know what an eggs Benedict is or how to make hollandaise sauce.
A cook who can't prepare hollandaise sauce is not an experienced cook. The mother sauces are a 200+ year old culinary tradition that every trained cook learns very early in their education. They're also very easy to make! Hollandaise has only 4 ingredients and takes under 15 minutes to make at home. If a cook can't make a decent hollandaise then you CANNOT trust that cook to make anything else.

Read moreI found this place a couple of months ago and 5 star rating doesnât do this place justice, they deserve 10 stars. It starts with the ladies up front, theyâre fast, friendly, professional and always get my order right. As a former, longtime hospitality employee, I know how hard it is to maintain consistency in worth ethic as well as your demeanor dealing with people but these ladies are bringing it every time Iâm there! They should be commended for their professionalism during a very challenging time to work in this business because people are A-holes, so make sure you take care of them when you go or you too are an A-hole.
Now to the food, itâs very good and affordable but also very consistent (a reoccurring theme here) both breakfast and lunch with a good selection and specials as well, highly...
Read moreIf craving a casual, no-frills bite, this little diner near the airport might be just the spot. Tucked away in a quiet corner, itâs a bit of a hidden gem, with an unexpected bonus: you can enjoy your meal while watching planes take off and land just across the way.
The food is solidânothing spectacular, but definitely good enough to satisfy. The fish dishes, while tasty, came in smaller portions compared to what you might find elsewhere. The bacon was a little overcooked. Our waiter was fantastic, attentive, and made the whole experience feel more welcoming.
The coffee was a pleasant surprise, served nice and hotâperfect for sipping while watching the planes take off. Itâs not a place for gourmet dining, but if youâre looking for a simple, enjoyable meal with a great view, this diner...
