I have been coming to Niko’s for almost two years as I work right next to the location. I am a nursing instructor and oncology nurse my students and colleagues have come here for a long time. I’ve thought long and hard about writing this review. Today was one of the most embarrassing degrading moments of my life, when the woman who I think is the owner spoke to me in the most disgusting disrespectful way. My review is based purely on the service received by the her. The food is decent.
I waited on line to place my order and when I got to the register she told me: “a month ago you called in an order for a grilled cheese and fries, and came inside and saw the line was long and you left, the least you could have done was tell us to cancel the order, but I had to throw it out”. I told her she was mistaken and I had never done this. I have been calling in orders and ordering in person for a long time and would never ever do this. I have spent so much money here in the past two years and for her to be yelling at me as if she was my mother is insane. She yelled “I refuse to serve you”. I calmly explained to her that I didn’t even work the afternoon shift on the day she accused me of doing this and even pulled out my calendar on my phone to show her. I also explained that’s not my order because I only order cheese fries and never ever plain fries. She again yelled at me and said “I refuse to serve you. Now MOVE there are customers behind you”.
I was in complete shock of being spoken to like this especially over something I did not do. There are many instructors, nursing students and nurses who wear scrubs that order from here. I NEVER did this and the way that you spoke to me was completely uncalled for. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars at this location and to be spoken to like this??? Over something I did not do.
I have already told the faculty at this nursing school as well as the nurses and nursing students and will never stop telling people of how you spoke to me and made me feel. I will never forget how you made me feel in front of all those people. This is how Niko treats their loyal customers and nurses.
I spoke to you so kindly to explain this was not me and I was shocked to hear how unprofessional and rude your response was to me. You just lost a lot of your regulars in the nursing community.
I have already prayed for you and forgive you but the people deserve to know how you define customer service.
Edit- you are such a LIAR. I don’t know how many times I have to tell you that wasn’t me but at this point I don’t even care. I would never ask to skip a line to pick up my food, and you “offered to let me pay for it?” Haha what you said yesterday was NOTHING like this. It’s really sad that you can’t even admit that a mistake was made on your part. I even looked at my bank statement that day and I was in Concord for lunch with my mother on 4/24. The main point is how you spoke to me yesterday in front of so many people including my students that were sitting in there eating. I am a brand new mom and have ate here during my entire pregnancy and just want to add in I’m under a lot of stress in my postpartum time of my life. You never know what someone is going through and you talked to me like I was a stray dog and yelled at me to MOVE. You are disrespectful and all of that over an $8 sale, that wasn’t even mine. So I got my salad and it had cucumbers and eggs in it and I’m allergic to both. So I said that I was sorry I’m allergic to cucumbers and tomatoes can you make it over. So the order maker said it was in there you should have told them that up front, so I responded and said I’m SORRY I didn’t know it was on the Menu board I just looked at the COBB salad and I like my salad that way, so another employee came out and said the same thing to me and I told her that she has already explained it to me but mind you by this time two employees that already told me the same thing twice and I told them that I was SORRY and I understand next time I will know. So another employee comes from the back to tell me the EXACT same thing and I told her that, y’all don’t have to keep telling this I understood the first two times, and y’all are getting MAD 😡😡😡😡 because y’all have to remake my salad this is Ridiculous!!! The food is good not bad, But the service I received from the manager and one of the cooks was ridiculous. They got my order wrong and said I ordered that.
