I really wish I didn't have to give them any stars. I order a pizza online at 8:05 Pm. At 9:05 I was wondering ok where is the pizza so decided to call which no one answer for about 20min. Had to keep hanging up and calling back then some guy answer and says the manager is telling him to tell everyone that it will be a while because of the weather but mine you the weather is clear outside. He also said it will be here in 10/ 15 min. Ok around 10pm no pizza so keep calling back no answer. Finally some guy pick up and said it will be a 2 1/2 hour wait but let him check and see where my pizza is at could I please hold. I had to wait on hold for 20min before the manager came to the phone with a snobby attituide saying it's a 2 1/2 hr wait by that time it's like 10:20 and iam like wait a min I place my order online at 8:05 and they didn't say anything about a 2 1/2 hr wait plus I have call down here several of times and someone told me 10/15 min that it would be here. And also if it's a 2 1/2 hr wait it would have been nice for someone to call and let me know that. She says to me that's not there job but any way she tells me that my pizza is on the way it should be pulling up. Ok wait 15min more no pizza by that time I wasn't calling back to be place on hold for 20 more min I hop in my car and drove there for a refund. When i got there it's like 5 delivery cars in the parking lot and maybe 6 ppl at drive thru complaing and also workers hanging outside smoking weed with I guess there friends all loud and rude smh. They won't let you inside tell you that you have to go to drive thru. Ok when pull to the window this ghetto women that's suppose to be a manager looks at me and did not come to window. I had to knock on the glass and she look but didn't come. She had the nerves to send another young lady over. I told her I wanted my money back so she call the ghetto manager over. She comes over rude as I don't no what. I told her I wanted my money back and that she told me a lie that my pizza should had been pulling up when my sister just call and said that they guy just drop it off and it's cold. Mind you I ask my sister what kind of car was he driving she describe the same car that left papa johns when I was at drive thru smh. I told the manager that and also told her she's very unprofessional and I just wanted my money she had the nerves to tell me to bring it back.đŽ after I had done place my order at 8:05 and they gave me the run around for almost 3hr about a cold pizza which they forgot to bring the dessert. I told her I wish I would if she wanted it she better have told her driver to double back and pick it up because I don't want it. I just want my money back, so I ask her what was her name she said Tammy but couldn't give her last name. I ask was there another manager there that I could speak with she said yeah two more but wouldn't give me there names and that they was busy smh. By that time I just pull off and will be calling corporate because that's just sad. I advise any and everyone not to ever eat from that papa johns on Freedom Dr. If there doing all that you never no what's going on with your pizza while...
Read moreIf i could give less than one star I would and let me say i waited to post just to see if corporate would handle the situation properly but they only excused their employees behavior...While i like Papa John's pizza This location is HORRIBLE!!!!! The girl running the register/drive thru window I encountered on my visit a couple months ago(who if you read this review you know exactly who you are) was extremely obnoxious, rude and classless. First, I pull up to the drive through window and mind you it's not even 9:00. I have my 8 year old special needs child in the back to pick up a basic cheese pizza that i ordered online more than 30 minutes beforehand. I sit at this window almost 10 minutes watch this twit look dead at me, get on her phone, fold boxes anything she could to ignore me. So I pull forward, park my vehicle(and yes in a somewhat obnoxious manner) and walk in. She then proceeds to go to the window help the person that had JUST pulled up, ignore me some more and then comes to the register to say the inside is closed it's drive thru only. Im hot at this point and explain to her as calmly as possible I would have been happy to remain in the drive thru if she hadn't ignored me for almost 10 minutes. then with more attitude she pulls my order says its not ready and proceeds to walk to the guy in the back and talk about me BY NAME within earshot. At which point i say loudly enough for all workers to hear if you have something to say address me. She makes me wait another 10-15 minutes just to be snotty even after explaining I have a special needs child in the car and no i won't move it because he's still inside and you didn't want to serve me at the window. After I left, I promptly got home and called corporate and filed a proper complaint to which oh we are sorry she need to undergo more training etc..No she needs to be promptly fired. I've worked customer service for 20 years and on any job I've had would be terminated for this behavior so the fact that corporate makes excuses and the manager likes these type of employees means that you have lost a number of customers because of a single person's visit. I will never give this place another dime not will my friends or family. Pizza Hut has gained a number of customers due to this one employee, they even gave me a free pizza to make up for my horrible experience with this...
Read moreWe have two pizza places near us, and have to drive out of our way for pickup from Papa John's. We knew we could have selected delivery, but this was for one of their in store specials.
First, I had a number of problems with the Papa John's app; that in itself is a whole other story. The next real trouble started when we got there. It was raining. A number of other customers and I walked up to the front door to find it locked.
So here we stood, in the rain, long enough to talk about the door being locked, that one lady was there to pick up a "re-do" screwed up delivery order, one guy was there to place a pickup order and wait, and we all talked about why we were standing in the rain, in front of locked doors, for several minutes.
Finally, one of the staff came to the door and told us that we'd need to go through the drive-thru for service. No apologies, just closed the door and relocked it. We all looked at each other, the lady said what I was thinking: they've got a drive-thru?
Here's the problem I had with this "process". It said nothing about this when placing the order with the app. But the real problem was a sign, or lack thereof. It would have been nice to have had a HUGE sign on the door saying "PLEASE USE OUR DRIVE-THRU FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. THANK YOU". Come on guys, this is common sense.
So we did as we were told, got our pizzas, and went home. When we opened the pizza boxes, we found not one, but two of the pizzas with HUGE bubbles missing cheese/toppings! Where's the quality control? I would have called in and had replacement pizzas made, but we had people waiting to eat and does it already been too much trouble.
I guess their "Better Ingredients" don't include quality control and...
