First time here my wife and myself have been here we have been wanting to try this brewery for a while now. Food and service was great! It did take a while for our food to come out but the waitress told us it might be that way before we ordered. And we understand we were glad she informed us as soon as we sat down. They had 11 craft beers on tap but only 3 were from Sangamo Brewery. My wife had the coco cream ale it was ok not the most flavorful beer. I had the American pale ale. I thought it was better that the cream ale but still not the best beer around. I would have liked them to showcase more of their beer if they have it? Not sure if they are more focused on the restaurant side of the business rather than brewing more beer? Over all it is a cool place to visit and they do have other local beer on tap. And like I started out with the food and service was great. We will definitely go back. Only three stars just because I guess I was expecting them to have more of there...

Terrible service. The hostess was rude and the manager was not very nice. We came in for a couple of overpriced drinks and got treated very poorly. There was no line and no waiting list when we walked in so we got a drink at the bar and took it outside. After a bit the manager sent somebody out to kick us out of the bar because we were sitting at a wet table outside in the rain that the hostess didn't seat us at. We told him that we would just take our business elsewhere. It was very rude to do something like that. We have been patrons of Sangamo for several years now and this was the first time this has ever happened. We actually go there several times a week. At this point I think we have no plans of spending money there any time in the near future. My advice ...go somewhere else. The management team does not value their regular...

We stopped here for a late lunch on Sunday. When we arrived there were a lot of vehicles there... a good sign on a Sunday. The interior is colorful with a whole lot of beer advertising from many long gone breweries. Staff was very friendly. We dined inside but could have sat outside. Wife had a Walleye dinner with roasted Brussel sprouts and fries. I had the Prime rib sandwich, fries and one of their own beers on tap. All the food was very good and hot. The beer was superb. Plenty to eat for sure. Only improvement I can suggest is serve the Prime rib sandwich on a plate. Came in a basket and it was so big I had to cut it up with the knife they provided. Just a bit difficult and messy in a basket. Will definitely...

Another brewery in another small town, this one has a full food menu. Chili (with beans) was tempting as were the burgers, but I chose the Chicken and Bacon Caesar Salad. With it, their fine "Bur Oak - Old 63" Pilsner. Salad was tasty with lots and lots of bacon, and only one romaine lettuce core. Maybe too much dressing and I've never had a salad with cherry tomatoes but I'm nitpicking. It was good. Beer was excellent. Pilsner that tasted like pilsner. No wifi here, so I wrote my reviews on my hotspot. There are power outlets in one corner of the room and happily, my phone is now at 90%.

Pros: Food was great. Ordered a pork tenderloin horseshoe. Crispy pork and fries smothered in sauce. Also had a couple beers that were good, favorite was the white IPA. Wait staff checked in often enough. Cons: Food took about 45 minutes to get to me. I ordered an appetizer with the horseshoe and they both came at once. Would have loved to get the appetizer earlier and separately. It was a Saturday night and they were busy, so that's probably why.
