China King Restaurant — Restaurant in Chattahoochee

The man and woman who own this place are absolutely hard working people. The man (Chef) does the cooking and tends to the kitchen all by himself it appears. The woman runs the counter and does her share of the work in the restaurant area and I am sure assists the Chef.There is one waitress. It is really kind of amazing to watch.That Chef is all business in his kitchen. I eat here on occaison, mainly get take out, sometimes eat in and have the buffet. Buffet cost is near $7.29 , kids get a lower price and it has a good variety of tasty dishes. Adults and kids will find something they like.They have soup and a desert bar and usually some good fruit sliced up. There are some tiny tasty little cakes that I could eat twenty of.....but I don't......hmmmm...or do I? Sometimes the food is outstanding and at worst it is just real good.I mainly order from the menu which has a large selection of dishes to choose from. I like the Shrimp with Mixed Veggies and the Shrimp Lo Mein.There is also a selection of menu meals that are specially priced all day. Atmosphere is ok, prices are good, bathroom is ok. Building is old but it is alright. We need to support this business.It is a Mom and Pop small business that I am sure is struggling now due to...

Great food, definitely A+++. The variety on the buffet (which is always hot and well stocked) is incredible. The atmosphere has the small town charm; the staff - friendly and spot on in attending to any of your needs. The bathroom is kept very clean as well (something I always pay attention to when dining out). This is not a "run-of-the-mill" establishment. The proprietors do what they do best which is preparing all of the tasty food they offer. You can not beat the prices either for take out. My husband and I usually load up the large sized container for take out from the buffet. Always have leftovers even though we share just the one container! If you can close the lid - it's a done deal; So for $10.70 (includes tax) we're set for a feast. We always tip the wait staff even if getting to go - we want to keep the staff here happy! Don't change a thing China...

I called in an order for "fresh" donuts and food due to past orders not being fresh, I checked the donuts before paying and they were dark brown (they were obviously refried from the buffet) so I stated that "I didn't want them because they aren't fresh" the female who takes the orders snatched back all the food and said "well no buy nothing then" lol... I was appalled!!! How dare you refuse to sell me food because I wouldn't buy old, refried chinese donuts. Also, the guy ( whom I have never heard speak in all the visits in the past) came up when I had to return after leaving my wallet behind and said "when you want fresh, come inside and order, no call so that way you can see if they are fresh. Wow, wow, wow the nerve.... I will never in my life spend money...
