I love jets pizza but I'm no longer a customer. Be sure to see the photo I attached showing my location (red dot, home), where they will deliver a pizza to (white dot) and where they are located (top right with fork and knife logo).
Their delivery guidelines are extremely frustrating. I can get 20% off by texting in an order but their system will not allow me to text in an order because I'm about 3 blocks outside of their randomly defined delivery zone. Same for online orders, I can't get the online deals because I'm outside of their delivery zone. I am literally in the middle of downtown Chattanooga. I can trick the text system or the website and get it delivered at a random address 3 blocks away. Which is a hassle me and their delivery people and is likely unsafe. If I call into the store, they will sometimes delivery too me but will not give any text or online related discounts.
In a time where restaurants are closing left and right, it would be nice to see someone fortunate enough to still be open, go a little out of the way to provide a little customer service. It was a nice gesture to offer to deliver to me, but for an extra $4, I'll go try the new Pizza Bros or Good Fellas or Community Pie or any one of the 20 pizza places that are 3 blocks from me. If I owned a pizza place, and I had a customer in the middle of 20 other pizza restaurants call and want a pizza from me, I'd go 3 extra blocks to deliver it and would thank them profusely for picking me over the others.
For the record, I've owned a small business for over 15 years and I understand tough choices have to be made from time to time. I would chose a repeat customer that's 3 blocks outside my zone over $4 and a canceled order. And more importantly a...
Read moreWe love Jets Pizza but unfortunately had an incredibly distasteful incident that I now feel compelled to write this one star review. I myself manage a quick service restaurant so I feel I understand what the employees here go through on a day to day basis. We live across town, too far away to order delivery. I placed an order online and drove 30 mins to pick it up. Got 1 pizza and 1 bottle of ranch. Drove all the way home, drizzled the entire pizza in ranch because YUM right? Wrong. We then noticed the bottle of ranch says it expired 3 days ago. We did not feel safe eating the pizza so called and asked for a refund instead of driving another hour there and back. They said on the phone we would be refunded. It’s been a few days and we were not refunded. We called again today to explain the situation and the person on the phone said we should have still eaten the expired ranch. This is incredibly rude to tell a customer. To imply eating expired food is acceptable is wild to me, and the fact you are serving expired food is absurd. Expired dairy none the less!?!?! I don’t think the department of health would agree with this either. Seems like a re-training on expectations when speaking to customers is needed if you ask me. When a restaurant makes a mistake, they fix it…Not tell the customer to...
Read moreI have never called a pizza delivery store after receiving my order. Most promptly I want to add. Any other(s) were located more closely. Reason, to let them know how I was pleasantly pleased the freshness of pizza. Our pizza was still (very hot and gooey cheese) as you all know what I am referring to. With the freshest ingredients, making them to be same as the freshly prepared salads, no prepackaged anything here. Stopped in to eat on day everything was the same great consistently. Owner was working as much as staff. Everyone was very attentive, pleasing and wearing happy faces. I went to the restroom, very clean and modernized. I Always make a habit to see the Health Inspection prior to taking my seat, regardless. Theirs 100, see?? I congratulated owner and staff. They were thankful. Mentioned I once work in full service from prep to dining room manager (kitchen door to front, my responsibility). I understood what it took to earn. During my years in past, my stores were always the highest ratings being the cleanest within the district. Every time I see these high scores, I congratulate. These pleasantries are always welcomed. I give credit when credit is due, as most employees do not hear them...
