Pretty disappointed. Waited to go here after seeing they were closed on Sundays. Finally had a Monday off to go and visit, online it says they’re open, but I figured I’d call just in case because I live far away.
Their Facebook phone number is wrong, and not the company’s phone number.
The Google phone number rang 3 times, then sent me to voicemail. Waiting 30 minutes and called again, they answered the phone and hung up on me before saying anything. So I’m not even sure it’s the correct phone number.
Yelps phone number is also wrong.
However, seeing as though it says open on Google & Facebook, I decided to go anyways. Drove 35 minutes from Soddy Daisy TN, (I’ve been in great need of a good tamale and was told to go there).
The building is super small, looks absolutely disgusting and run down on the outside, but still, I proceeded into the drive thru. They were closed it seemed, as the “open sign” wasn’t on, and no one answered the window. I didn’t get out to try to open the door, because it’s a pretty scary looking side of town, and I was alone.
Seriously a not so great experience. You should update your phone numbers, and actually answer the phone when people call, instead of answering and hanging up, that’s unprofessional by all means.
I don’t think I’ll ever try to go back, seeming as though I was given less than Stellar service at the fault of having either wrong hours (got there around 12:30 so they should have been open) & no way to contact anyone. As a smaller business, you’d think you’d want correct information. I am an Operations manager for 2 business and having correct and updated information is crucial.
If you’d like to take the gamble, do try and visit there. 50/50 chance they’ll be open when...
Read moreCame highly recommended, as such being so local to myself I had to try it! The tamales 🫔 were delicious.
While I liked the seasoning of the beef and the overall taste thereof much better, the beef tamales were lacking in filling compared to the chicken tamales which I also tried due to this inconsistency I'm rating 4 stars as I found myself having to 'find the filling' which took away from my overall experience.
However, as these are all fresh made and this was my first time I will revisit and revise accordingly as this could have been coincidental rather than a wholistic business approach to skimp on beef.
Overall the value for the money and the flavors were all on point so its a solid...
Read moreHands down one of my favorite lunch stops in town. If you’re looking for fresh, authentic, delicious food. This is it. Tacos, tamales, Tortas, horchata, enchiladas. They have it all. I usually 2-3 or maybe 6 tacos and a tamale or two. Never had a bad experience with my food or with the staff. I’ve eaten here probably about 15-20 times since 2021 and it is always good. They used to take cards. However last few times I’ve gone it’s cash only. So bring some cash. You can feed two people...
