I ordered a breakfast toaster combo the carhop brought me the food I opened the sandwich wrapper to find both pieces of the bread had no butter on them and they were completely burnt. I explained to the carhop that I wasn't satisfied with the meal and she offered to make me another sandwich cool right? Not exactly the manager came out a few seconds later with an attitude towards me and told me that they don't put butter on the bread I told her i was once an employee at sonic and it was standard to apply butter to the texas toast sandwiches I mean just look at the pictures on the menu clearly you can see the bread is buttered and lightly toasted and not burnt she then said the grill was on its lowest setting and that's how it comes. I told her I wanted my money back she said ok fine went back inside to return my money to my card when she returned I attempted to ask her name and ask for the corporate number she pretended to not hear me and walked back into the store. So i got out of my car and went online to obtain the information I needed. The manager came back out to interact with another customer in another stall while searching online I made another attempt to get the information from her she again pretended to not hear me and went back in to the store. Finally I found the number and made the call to corporate and made a customer complaint about how i was treated and how the food services was very poor. You cant serve people burnt food and expect them to be satisfied with eating burnt food. The cartoon however had excellent customer service and tried to fix the situation which was very simple BUTTER THE TOAST AND DON'T BURN THE BREAD. The managers job I feel was to handle the situation and satisfy the customer who was paying for service and food she clearly made the situation worse with her bad attitude and confrontational approach and has lost a customer to this particular store that I loved to frequent I worked there and sonic food is really good when prepared correctly. Corporate took my complaint and also explained to me that I the customer was correct and that butter is to be applied to the sandwiches and didn't understand why this manager said that they didn't apply butter. The matter would be looked into and that they would contact me back to inform me on the actions taking for my complaint and she issues a very sincere apology for my inconvenience. All for some butter and burnt bread are you kidding me? So people if you don't want a burnt bread sandwich I advise you not to go to the sonic on brainerd rd the one across from the liquor store plus the tots were old and cold to the touch. Read moreWhen I arrived, a female employee was outside talking to a friend loudly. This employee spent the entire hour running in and out of the store on their cell phone. They wore a blond wig and had their t-shirt tied in a knot at their back. Over 90% of the time when the door opened it was this same employee talking on the cell phone, talking to friends, and walking around the parking lot in a lap talking on the phone. They came in and out of the store more than the car hop did. I observed 3 separate customers pull up, place an order, and get their food while I was waiting for my food. After I had waited 30 minutes, and saw the first customer who came after me get their food, I pushed the button and asked about my food. The person who answered the speaker cut me off in mid-sentence, (interrupted) and stated my food would be right out, and that they were short-staffed. The carhop came out and told me that they didn't have any sweet or unsweet tea, and asked me to select another drink. I continued to wait and observed the car hop bring 3 more orders to other customers who arrived after I did. The carhop saw me watching and still waiting for my food and told me it should be out shortly. After I had waited over 45 minutes another employee came outside to ask me what my order was and told me that they didn't see my order on the screen. I told her what it was and she said she would take care of it. At 58 minutes I finally got my food. All of the stalls on the right side of the lot did not work.. There is peeling paint, filthy windows and looks run down. There was trash around the perimeter. Employees frequently came outside while I was there to talk to friends. The bacon was burnt. Read moreAbsolute worst sonic I have ever been too!! I ordered 8 meals had everyone’s orders planned out and ready. The girl who was taking the order seemed very delayed but whatever. Got to the window paid 72.00 and was given a Dr Pepper with no ice (with ice) I had an extra breakfast burrito they gave me an order of fries instead of tots as I had clearly asked for. The guy at the window wasn’t rude but he definitely wasn’t polite he handed 8 drinks out the window then 3 bags and shut the window no thank you have a good day or anything I even got his attention and asked if that was everything because typically they say have a good day. I checked and verified everything was there except for the tots that my child parted with and took fries instead and well my Dr Pepper with no ice that had ice was only a medium but I paid for a large yet my other child got a large slushy when it should of only been medium but hey there was a free breakfast burrito so whatever right and lastly the food was absolute garbage.
