The All In — Restaurant in Chehalis

Went because of high ratings. Exterior decor gives you an indicator of what's inside. Surprisingly, the inside is somewhat nostalgic with multiple pictures of hunting and fishing poses mixed with Budweiser art. It is dark inside and the televisions were simulcasting american ninja warriors. We found a seat near the bar. After 15 minutes, the waitress took our drink order. The restaurant was 40 percent full. Wait staff was just 1 in this dive bar. Another 20 minutes passed and our order was taken. 30 minutes later, our dinner was served. We ordered jalapeno poppers as an appetizer, fish and chips (crispy), and the house Dee's burger. The burger came first followed by fish and chips and poppers. The fries were not crispy as requested. The fish was a bit overcooked and the breading was heavy. The poppers were also heavily breaded and cooked crispy. The tartar sauce was on the sweet side. The chardonnay was a sweet box vintage and the dirty martini was served warm. The Dee's burger was large and bun perfectly toasted. American cheese was melted throughout. Sautéed onions were plentiful but jalapeños were few. Mushrooms in this burger had no taste. Overall, this burger was juicy and well cooked but had little character. The server was not friendly, did not check on us during the meal amd we had to go to the bar to pay our bill and get boxes to go. That said, you get a lot of food for the price. I have lived in Onalaska WA for some time now... with that said I feel like a horses rear end for not going here until this day. My mom... my girlfriend and myself were very hungry and had a bad day. I out of the blue looked up the all in and decided to order up some grub. A double cheese burger... A double bacon burger... And a chicken strip basket... along with mozzarella sticks.... Holy heck... talk about some great food! Those burgers are to die for... and the size of them was crazy....cooked perfectly... mad amounts of cheese... mine had what seemed like a half of pig in bacon on it.... amazingly tasty. Both my mom n I loved it. Girlfriend liked her chicken Strips alot and we all liked the mozzarella sticks. Food is a must!!...if you're in the area...stop here. Nice inside with plenty of seating and a nice bar. Excellent service from a very nice woman named Dee...I could have talked with her for ages and can't wait to get to know the owners. Our new favorite place!!! We've only gone twice now but it's enough to know this is our go to for excellent food at an amazing price with good drinks, friendly staff and great atmosphere. Last night's special was the smoked chicken, cooked perfectly, and it was so nice to have homemade potato salad and not the kind you buy at the store. Definitely don't pass this place up!!!
