Godfather's Pizza — Restaurant in Cherokee

Arrived at 11:30a. Had to wait 10 minutes for someone to approach us at cash register. Placed order for two buffet meals. Lettuce was almost empty could see the bottom of tray and looked water logged and brown. Asked for new lettuce to be put out and was told well it's from the same bag. When I asked for lettuce to be filled I never mentioned it being brown or water logged just that is was almost empty; which leads me to believe others had been voicing their concerns about the condition of the lettuce. Also when sat down to eat I took some mashed potatoes and gravy. The mashed potatoes were ice cold I let the lady aware of this to which she brought over some and stuck her finger in them infront of me and said they are not cold. I told her here try these and put some on the plate she had. I told her I would not lie to you. She reaponded with well the steam table is set to as high as it can be set. So I am assuming that steam table was not working properly. Also the chicken was in the frying oil way too long it was burnt and very crusty and crumbly. During our visit I heard her also say to a customer that chicken was very limited today and people should be sharing instead of hogging it all. She was very loud spoken and rude to her customers. Just stopped in for supper. Choice from Ida Grove is either drive to Carroll or Cherokee for our favorite Godfather’s Pizza. Well, we will no longer be driving to Cherokee. We stood at counter for 12 minutes waiting to even be acknowledged or actually waiting to hear a noise to see if anyone was working. I finally walked behind counter to see if anyone was working. I turn corner and look and see someone on phone who just looks at me and then let’s me know he is only one working and he will be right with us. I proceed to tell him we have been here 15 minutes and haven’t even been acknowledged. He then loudly says we have only been there a couple of minutes. I’m sorry I exaggerated I was only there 12 minutes not 15. No worries we left without further ado and will never be back. We will travel to Godfather’s Pizza in Carroll...

What kind of service is this? I called for delivery. 1 the guy that answered didn't offer anything on the menu. I had to guess. Would have spent more maybe knowing what you sold. Two he wants me to walk to find the driver for deliver despite me giving a specific address. Three he didn't even care to ask for my phone number for callback or take down my billing instructions.. How does he know if I want to pay with cash or card? All I know is when I walk to his designated area and my food isn't there in the allotted time frame.
