Kings Restaurant and Hookah Bar — Restaurant in Chesapeake

My previous comment was blocked so here goes another. First let me start by saying our server was very apologetic at the lack of service we had, she really tried her best. The food was pretty okay, it had flavor. Now let’s start. The owner/manager was very rude and unprofessional. When asked a question, instead of answering we were waved off and told to shut up (it was some colorful words in there but I think using them last time had my review removed) it was 4 of us and we were paying good money, we had to go to the bar to get our own drinks and because the owner got annoyed with us because I complained he told the bartender to stop serving us and we needed to wait at our table for our waitress to serve us. I said I would not spend another penny in there! But oh I went back 1 more time with a huge group of people. TABLES were reserved and paid for. When we got there all the guest that attended had to pay an additional $20 to get in although tables were paid for. Get inside and there were no tables, they were given to other parties. Went here last weekend! My boyfriend and I had a great time with the vibes and the hookah! Service was terrible especially for out of town couples! I am not sure if the server mistaken me for someone she knew but the server did have reddish brown hair it was in a bun that night with a red Fanny pack and she refused to serve us for whatever reason, all we did was sit down in the section we were told to and the server of that section acted as if we were not there ! We waited for about 40 min just to get another customer to get us some service! When the customer was able to finally reach the server, (the one with the red Fanny pack that night) looked at us and sent someone else over to serve us ! Not sure what the issue was but it was very rude and unprofessional because neither my bf or I are from VA! It took all the way till the time the hookah lounge was closed to get the fries that I ordered as well! But other than the service everything else was amazing...

Will never go again! The security and waitresses will hustle customers by raising prices for hookah, entry fees, drinks or creating fake smoking cannabis fees to pocket the extra profit. The owner should watch the staff this establishment is crawling with liars and thieves wearing a black “King Hookah “ uniforms. No one checked on our coals and drinks were removed from our table before they were finished. The waitress also was visibly irritated when we asked for an itemized bill and receipt . Parking sucks and the $20 entry fee is ridiculous for a tiny box of a place with no dance floor. DON’T waste your time here.
