McDonald's — Restaurant in Chesapeake

Not really sure what’s going on with this McDonald’s. My son was in school but asked this morning if he could have a happy meal for his lunch today, and to have myself and his grandma visit for school lunch so I said of course. We pull up in the drive thru around 10:20am, and I asked if we could get a happy meal. I did not know that they weren’t serving lunch yet (I rarely go to McDonald’s so I didn’t know): the worker immediately snips back with “we only have breakfast”. I said “oh alright yall don’t have any lunch options at all right now?” Worker, snips back again: “we ONLY have breakfast”. I reply “oh okay what time do you start lunch?” The worker responds with “10:30”. My mother was in the car with me and we were trying to figure out whether to get my son breakfast food, to wait until 10:30, or to go somewhere else. I even told the worker to give me just a second. Less than twnety seconds later we’re met with a “y’all ready yet?” I said “no sorry one second”. Worker: “y’all can’t hold up my line now”. I took a second, because I have never had someone so snippy and rude like that. I said “excuse me?” Worker: “I said, y’all can’t hold up my line”. Keep in mind, there is NO ONE behind me, and I told the worker that. Worker still tried to rudely justify that we were holding the line and made mean remarks. I then told her that we were just trying to see if we were getting something there or not but that I didn’t appreciate her attitude and we’d be leaving because of it. And calling management later. I was met with a loud and rude “GOOD DAY”. I don’t think I’ve ever met someone so bitter and rude in fast food before. Upon calling management and notifying them of the situation, I was met with the simple “oh we don’t condone that, next time come inside and we’ll deal with that.” I don’t normally write reviews but knowing that this situation probably wasn’t even handled or possibly even laughed about, I decided to at least write a review online to make others aware. I’m not really sure what is going on with this McDonald’s but the two other times I’ve been here I’ve experienced very poor customer service. Family and friends have told me they have had similar experiences and avoid this location at all costs, and even seeing online reviews from other’s experience here is sad. I understand it’s a just a regular fast food chain but you shouldn’t be so rude to customers just trying to spend money and leave, especially if they are as nice as can be. I’m not sure what was going on with that specific worker but I pray she has better days and learn to actually speak with people like...

Horrible! Ive been to this location a few times already. Its always very ghetto. There's a bunch of men that hang inside and out, making it super uncomfortable to go inside. So that brings me to have to go thru the horrible drive-thru. So today there was about 5 cars ahead of me. Once i finally got to the order speaker a un-welcoming "can i help you" i ordered my food, which consisted of a couple of happy meals,a few cheeseburgers and 2 lg fries. After ordering and waiting 10 mins i finally make it to the pay window. Greeted by "did u order 2 dbl cheeseburgers and a fry"? I said "no, i ordered 2 hap....." the window closes in face face while im speaking" the employee walks away. She comes back about 30 secs later to put in new receipt tape. And then opens the window again and says "oh, your the one with the happy meals and burgers" i say "yea and 2 fries. She then takes my card, swipes it and gives it back to me, then closes the window.- no.."sorry about the wait, no have a good night, no thank you...nothing. so im sitting there for another 10/15 mins waiting to get to the pickup window. Once i finally make it there a female opens the window, hands me a bag, closes the window, comes back hands me two more bags, and then 2 drinks. I ask for sauce she hands it to me and slams the window very "attitude " like and walks away...-she like her rude friend, never says thank you, sorry about the wait...nothing as a matter of fact she said absolutely nothing to me. So i sat there contemplating on whether i wanted to speak to a manager, like they would even care. So i say "excuse me, can i talk to a manager please?" She calls him over he comes over with a look on his face like he just hates life. I said you know you all are very rude. I just waited in this line for over 20 mins. No one apologizes ..im.not even greeted with a slight smile..i got nothing but 100 percent attitude. I said this is insane. He says "im sorry maam we will do better next time " then his rude employee in the background getting all hot and bothered by my comment. Quickly trying to defend her behaviour. I said i wont be back...then drove off. Worse experience ever..if u dont like your...

The pits!!! Drive thru was so slow I waited 20 minutes left and came back 20 minutes later only to wait for an additional 20 minutes!! The drive thru person kept telling people to hold on which lasted a good 10 minutes per car!! Then I get my order and they forgot one thing.. I asked for a frappe with extra drizzle and instead got a watery coffee slush,no caramel at all. The girl didn't know what to do so the manager took it and thought I wasn't watching. Used a cup laying around, poured my drink in it and squirt drizzle on top.

Update: We went here for a late dinner. Sad to say that the KIDS who work here have ABSOLUTELY NO WORK ETHICS OR CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS! not only do they not greet you but they don't smile or make you feel like being in the restaurant. I placed and order on the kiosk and went to watch as it was being prepared. Every time I come here, they put the swirls of caramel in the cup. Well I asked the little girl if she could do that PLEASE and she flat out said NO. then she walked away shaking her head aside I was the issue! She rudely turns her back to us and speaks to another child behind the counter and decides she wasn't gonna finish our order. As the food was prepared, my son requested that the orders be separately bagged, again she huffed and turned away. She tossed his order on the counter and walked off. Then she prepped my food and threw it across the counter and walked off. IGNORANCE IS NOT LEARNED IT WAS TAUGHT TO HER!! I said excuse me may I have some ketchup and that was a problem as well. She tossed some in the bag and walked off without any form of exit greeting. I am definitely going to take this type of rudeness up a notch because this is just disrespectful to any customer who has to encounter the funk attitudes of these ungrateful CHILDREN! I am a senior and this has happened every single time I visit this particular location! If you don't like your job...
