VERSARE Cafe + Market — Restaurant in Chester Township

This is my review. Not the owners review. Not other customers review. It is mine and mine alone. The food, nothing to complain about. Service, Nothing to complain about. Atmosphere, nothing to complain about. What I have a problem with is the money grab of every retail establishment That is not a chain in Ohio. Do you want me to go local, yet You charge me a fee on my credit card. This for me was a one and done. I never enter establishments twice that charge my credit card a fee. It's a philosophical difference. You can get on here and respond and say this and you can say that and you can say poor us we are so poor we cant make it unless we have our hand in your pocket charging a fee on your credit card. if you're so poor you can't afford to be in business close your doors. I will say what I say to all of you and your ilk: You would be out of business in a minute if you did not have that credit card machine in your possession. Your abuse of it is a money grab for greed and greed alone. Raise your price is 3% a year. But you already did that. Now you're grabbing more money out of my pocket. Not gonna happen. And I will tell anybody and everybody you should never do business with a small company who charges your credit card a fee because they're all lying when they say they can't make ends meet. All of them. However, good you were does not make any difference to me. I shall not be back. It is my recommendation to everyone who reads this. Don't shop where their opinion of you is so low they think they can get away with this. I may be on a one man Crusade, but it's a Crusade. I'll take to my dying day. owners: don't embarrass yourself by defending yourself. If you think you're gonna have the last word here, there are four other rating sites I can go on and I will if if you intend to make an indefensible response to this complaint. In 20 other states this process is illegal. And recognized as a money grab. Let your conscience...

Decided to stop in here after driving by it daily and had a particularly bad first experience. Walked in to an empty shop where there were 4 employees standing in the far corner chatting, giggling. I walked up to the case where the pastries were and stood looking at the selection and was surprised not one single employee greeted me with a welcome. They all looked my way but said nothing. I then walked to the corner and kindly asked for help and was served with less than desired ambition. I asked for my pastory (to go) and told it would be a four minute wait and it was served to me after 2 minutes resulting in it being cold on inside. My order was given to me (to go) and there was no positive salutation or gratitude communicated which cemented by decision that I’ll never go back. The new spot around the corner has my business...

I was so happy to find this perfect cafe in this area. Friendly people. Clean, modern and spacious but warm and comfortable atmosphere. Most importantly, great coffee. I haven’t tried their food yet but looks like a nice offering if you need something more than coffee. I feel bad about the one person who gave them one star - I suppose if you’ve had your head in the ground for the past twenty plus years the prices would seem expensive and you wouldn’t understand the menu or the interior design style. For the record, prices are no worse, in fact I think they’re quite a bit better, than Starbucks (at least they were for my order). I love that they’re local and I really hope this place...
