Silver Skillet Cafe — Restaurant in Chester Township

I have never been told I cannot change how I would like my eggs cooked until I went to the silver skillet. The waitress was in a hurry to take my order from the get go then tried to say I cannot change my eggs. After I told her maybe I shouldn't eat there she said she could put in my request but could not guarantee the kitchen would make my order as requested. I asked to speak with the manager and was told she was busy cooking. I told the waitress I did not care I wanted a manager. A gentleman came to my table I told him what was wrong and he stated I must have misunderstood. I informed him there was no misunderstanding after seeing his lack of concern we decided to not stay and eat instead went 3 blocks down to Rise and Dine the service and food there were...

I really wanted to love this place. Nice location, great atmosphere, friendly greeting/staff and very good service. Nice, well-rounded menu. The prices are very very reasonable. The food was just okay. They've got a lot of potential here and we will give it another try, but we won't be in a hurry to return. We ordered the tuna salad sandwich, tomato soup, and breakfast burger. I feel like they all could have used more seasoning or some pop of excitement. The bread and cheese that accompanied the food was very good. Everything else could use a mini makeover, even if it means paying a couple extra bucks. I would love to see this place kill it. Erika Korzub, I had to figure out how to combat you negative review, when I witnessed YOUR poor behaviour at this restaurant. My Family and I were sitting Directly behind you, we heard the Hurried and rather Rude way you addressed your Waitress. The waitress Never said that you couldn't change your eggs, ALL the changes you wanted to make would perhaps delay the order slightly... Im sorry, this is a Treasured place, we come to be with our family every week. Every week ,the food is consistently Fantastic, and the Wait Staff friendly!!!! Perhaps You were having a bad day, don't take it out on a Small, well loved business...
