Pulp Juice and Smoothie Bar Chesterland — Restaurant in Chester Township

Families beware and avoid this store! Yesterday (7/4/22) I was discreetly and innocently nursing my baby at a corner table at the Chesterland location. Pulp sent out a worker — a teenage boy — to tell me that his “manager asked that I cover up or go to the bathroom to do ‘that’.” Referring to me nursing my baby. I politely listened to the teenager and simply said “no.” The teenager proceeded to tell me how “inappropriate” i was. (Mind you I was wearing a dress designed to discreetly nurse and had a shaw over that.) This is wrong on so many levels! I am federally protected by law to feed my baby in a public setting, not to mention the creepy workers who were clearly just watching me and shaming a young mom with a baby. I used the bathroom before I sat down in the corner to nurse my baby and the bathroom was filthy and the lock didn’t even work, but sure let me go sit on the gross toilet to feed my baby in there. I wonder if the manager likes to eat in the bathroom as well?? This store, its manager and its workers need to be educated on what is truly “inappropriate” and about women’s right. This store is not family friendly or coherent about today’s world (did the manager forget we are in the middle of a baby formula shortage?!) A little compassion and acceptance would have been nice. The whole experience was shameful and I hate to imagine how they’d handle other situations. It’s 2022 — read the room...

For the price, you'd think that you'd get something better then just bland. We ordered two smoothies & a lemonade. All three went into the trash can. I find it odd that the smallest size they offer is a "kids" and it's the size of an adults medium coffee cup elsewhere. $15 out the window. When I think smoothie, I think frozen/milkshake consistency (not watered down liquid) loaded with fresh fruits that are tasteful & flavorful. These were nothing like that. Couldn't taste anything other then a bitter, powdered like vitamin taste that was atrocious. Neither had any flavor.. Very bland, very overpriced. Also, their version of lemonade is nothing nothing close to what you'd expect either. It has an odd color & a frothy dark yellow layer on top, and the actual taste can't be described. If you're looking for a delicious smoothie with all natural ingredients & fresh fruit that you can actually TASTE...I suggest Buckeye Chocolate. 2 stars is for the nice employees behind the counter..(I would hope they normally would be wearing...

BOOM...!!! YES..!!! The perfect addition to Chesterland. This place is fantastic. As soon as you walk in it is immaculately clean, has vibrant fun colors, and the staff is top notch.

The owners, Jason and Melissa, are great genuine folks and get you quick service, they answer all your questions, and just make the experience perfect.

Perry’s Pulp has a fantastic menu with tons of options. If you just want something light, like a smoothie, a healthy cookie, or one of the delicious wraps, I highly recommend the buffalo chicken in a spinach wrap on a spinach. They’ve got it all. You’re sure to pick a winner.

They’ve been dedicated to their customers, staying open, and making it easy for us when you need to come in and get a quick - and healthy- bite.
