Gino’s Pizza Store — Restaurant in Chester

I ordered from here tonight through GrubHub. With an hour long delivery estimate the food was 20 minutes late on top of that.

I ordered a regular stromboli which comes with ground beef and cheese, and I paid to add pineapple. When it arrived, it was stuffed with cheesesteak meat. They sell a cheesesteak stromboli, so obviously they screwed up.

IN addition to this, they did not include the french fries I paid for, and the hamburger was ruined because delivery was 20 minutes late, meaning the bun on the burger was just a pile of mush.

I called the restaurant to address this, and was put on the line with the manager. He was yelling from the get go, telling me nothing was wrong with my meal. We went back and forth and then finally he said he had to talk to the woman who prepared my meal, and he would call me back... in 45 MINUTES.

I said there was NO WAY I was going to wait another 45 minutes for a callback and then have them send out a replacement that would take another half an hour, and he started yelling at me again so I just hung up the phone and called GrubHub.

Now he is telling the GrubHub rep who contacted him that they did nothing wrong, and I am being denied a refund. This entire situation is HIDEOUS. NEVER give these people your money. This place seems to be hit or miss. I had a large order, and some items were great, and some items were awful. No in-between.

The double cheeseburger was cooked perfectly and the fries that came with it, though obviously out of a bulk package, were cooked well and tasted great. No ketchup packets were included which is kind of lame.

The cheese pizza slice was good. The sausage pizza slice was revolting. They clearly just took an already finished slice of cheese pizza and threw the sausage and some more cheese shreds on top and re-cooked it.

There were no diet soda options so I selected Pepsi but put in the notes that I would prefer ANYTHING diet over regular. They didn't send anything diet OR a Pepsi, they sent a ginger ale.

The meatball sandwich was perfect. The chicken parm sandwich was soggy and gross.

So it's truly a 50/50 situation. The delivery guy was REALLY nice though. I'll give them another try some time, but now I know what...

DO NOT, and I REPEAT DO NOT EAT AT GENO's!!!! No stars! The service, employees, food are all terrible. The employees and manager are full of lies and fibs. Please everyone avoid this place and this is why:

a. Poor customer service: I had ordered an extra large pizza and specified that it did not contain any meat and the employees ended up loading the pizza with chicken breast cutlets.

b. Rude manager/employee: I confronted my incorrect pizza order to the staff members there and the employee pressed the issue against me as if It was my fault. The restaurant takes absolutely zero blames for their actions and will never admit to their issues nor responsibilities.

c. Cleanliness: My friend approached me to even avoid this restaurant after this incident, due to his prior experience with their violations and infestations of rodent droppings and roach traces on the surfaces, grills, and cook areas.

d. Lying/Fibbing after confirming my correct order the manager/employees at Genos pizza made a lie confirming to me that my correctly ordered pizza was sent out and delivered, in which they've lied about the whole situation.

I'm seriously telling every single sole to avoid this pizza establishment for the greater and select another restaurant. DO NOT, and I REPEAT DO NOT EAT...

I ordered a meat lover's and chicken cheese steak sub. The picture shows what is supposed to come on the sub. Then you can also add (which means to include with something else) more items. I only added mayo to mean inclusive of what already comes on it. I called the store to tell them my sandwich had nothing on it. Their response was you only asked for mayo... no i asked to have mayo added to a sub. I received a plain and i mean plain chicken cheese steak. It's been three years since i ordered from them because of wrong orders and 2.5 hour delivery time wait. My pizza was great actually hot this time but this, they didn't even try to correct the mistake. I didn't ask for another sub. .
