Dollar General — Local services in Chester

This place is awesome I love to do my shopping in the evening the vibe is very nice even tho it can be a bit busy at times but the music totally makes up for it. it surprised me I have heard songs from Chris brown Green Day lil Wayne Kendrick Beyoncé future, Even throw backs of songs I grew up too and the songs are clean without all the bad words so that's nice. I get to dancing through the isles while I shop lol. The store is clean and the employees are nice and well mannered. When I go in there's usually this tall brown skin handsome young man wit a beautiful smile working the cash register, he's very helpful if you need help finding anything and always has a nice aroma to him. overall I have to say this is a great store and the best dollar Store in the area. It's so many dollar stores around us I know I'm not the only one that notices this..(keep up the good work please if anyone who works at this store can see this and keep your employees they are so helpful and nice and they are always busy I respect them for having to put up wit so many bad attitudes I see...

Update: May 2023 -ISSUE HAS BEEN FIXED. THEY ARE NOW ACCEPTING VISA/DEBIT CARDS AGAIN!

Update: MAY 2023 - NOW ONLY ACCEPTING CASH!!!!!!! Well, this has Gone downhill like everything else in the city. Seems like no one cares enough to keep our city thriving. This store now has been accepting only cash for the last MONTH. Mind you, just throw a sign on the front glass to let customers know but it's most likely being hidden due to the fact that it's been over a month now. I wonder if corporate even cares. Seems as though it won't be getting fixed anytime soon. Now why hasn't this issue been fixed? AND STILL CLUTTERED and never stocked. Ughhh I'm so over this store.

I like this Dollar General Store. The store is clean and very well lit. And It's the only Dollar General on the west side of Chester. The staff is friendly and funny. The store is always full of many items and products to choose from from a dollar up. They have a red box DVD rental machine in the front of the store. They also sell ice they have that in the front of the store on the outside. There's plenty of parking space and there is also handicap parking spaces that are close to the door and it is accessible to disabled people with wheelchairs. That store is always busy but the shelves are never really empty because they're always restocking the shelves because the items go so fast. But overall I give the workers at a for that effort because customer service isn't always is an easy...
