We absolutely love Culver’s! It’s one of those places that never disappoints and always feels like such a treat when we stop in. Whether we’re going for a full meal or just grabbing dessert, it’s become a family favorite and a spot we all look forward to visiting. There’s something about the whole experience—the food, the atmosphere, the service—that makes it stand out from other places.
The ButterBurgers are always fresh, juicy, and made just the way you want them. They never taste rushed or thrown together, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. The sides are just as good—crinkle-cut fries, cheese curds, onion rings—you name it, everything is delicious and satisfying. It’s comfort food done right, with portions that actually leave you feeling full.
Of course, the custard is what really makes Culver’s special for us. It’s rich, creamy, and perfectly smooth—way better than your typical ice cream. We love that they rotate their “Flavor of the Day,” because it makes every visit a little different and exciting. You never know what flavor you’ll get to try, and it keeps things from ever feeling repetitive. It’s fun for the kids (and honestly for us adults, too!) to check the board and see what’s new.
On top of the great food, the service is always wonderful. Every time we’ve gone, the staff have been friendly, polite, and quick to help. They’re patient even when things get busy, and you can tell they care about giving good customer service. It’s not just the food that makes us come back—it’s how welcome we feel while we’re there.
Culver’s really strikes that perfect balance: it’s casual enough to be an easy family spot, but the food and service make it feel like you’re getting more than just a quick meal. It’s affordable, consistent, and always leaves us with happy memories. For us, Culver’s is more than just a place to eat—it’s a family...
Read moreI would have to disagree with the subpar statements below, but hey, everyone has their own opinions and is entitled to them. I felt it only fair to give my 2 cents worth today. I am a successful business owner myself. I understand all facets of proper customer service. I am very particular about my food and a good customer experience. I literally go out of my way to bring clients, my family and friends to the Chesterton Culver's for a good quick bite often. Out of all of them I have been to, they are the fastest, most courteous people I have met in the fast food (made to order quickly) game. Their food does not taste prepared early, under a warmer, greasy or not enough to eat. Our food has always come out fresh whether eating in or grabbing carry out. Even one day, one of my clients asked for a large cup of coffee with his meal. The lady behind the counter said let me make you a fresh batch if your not in hurry. That is awesome customer service right there! She brought it to the table personally and said it is very hot and to let it cool a bit. All I can say is if there is ever a small problem all you have to do is ask one of their staff to fix it. I am sure they would easily resolve it or remake it. Nobody in business ever wants an unhappy customer. Sometimes it's all in one's approach. If you come across terse they might be rude right back. I have never seen it there, other than happy faces and a busy restaurant. No, I do not know the owners in any way shape or form, but the place is always clean with friendly staff. Keep up the good work and you will continue to do well. Have...
Read moreNever had any issues with this Culver's until today. Took my mom there and the rude person at the counter walked away from her TWICE while she was trying to place her order. When I confronted her about it her response to me was that "she's not ready to order" and then she tried to walk away AGAIN! I was so mad I demanded to talk to the manager and she told me she would get the "owner." When the woman came out who she said was the owner this woman was just as rude and did NOTHING!! However, I did see her later emptying the trash cans so I'm not positive she actually was the owner. I explained that my mom is 89, hard of hearing, and had tried to order at least twice with this cashier walking away from her. Yes, they had changed their menu boards and I had trouble reading them too. Plus the prices have almost doubled. We will NOT be going back!!!! I had to give them 1 star, but that's way too much. Grease dripped off the burgers!...
