I really wanted to like this place. The owner is very sweet and kind, and it has a nice patio area too. I've ordered a BBQ chicken flatbread pizza in the past and it was delicious! Unfortunately every single time I've had ice cream here I regretted it afterwards. I'm not sure if it's been sitting a while, or maybe it's the freezer where the ice cream is kept, but I've repeatedly been served ice cream that has an old funky taste to it and is visibly freezer burnt with ice crystals all over it. I was in the area and saw this delightful small place and decided to stop in. I was immediately greeted by a friendly woman who you can tell cares about the experience. She was very kind and recommended the daily special which was a pulled pork sandwich. The sandwich was delicious and fresh. An absolute hidden local gem of a place. Had a craving for a good soup and sandwich and was so torn on the choices as they all sounded amazing. Went with the cheeseburger chowder and broccoli cheese two top sellers (and can see why). Both were out of this world with flavor! The BLT was the cherry on top!
