Blue Room Cafe — Restaurant in Chicopee

Mike, the ever-present owner & manager, is a top-shelf guy. I felt very welcome after a long hiatus while being out of the area. The Blue Room is a long-time Chicopee landmark, and maybe where I had my first legal drink! It's unpretentious, unassuming and unapologetic in it's humble, working-class aura. For me, a standout; a sort of throwback to the best of what sports bars ought to be - great & friendly staff, solid draft beer selection, and affable customers all of whom seem to really be knowledgeable about sports in general and hockey in particular! Complete with fine bar snacks, and plenty of places around who deliver, you cannot beat it as far as checking out a game in a relaxed environment.
