EDIT: The owner recently responded to a post in the Chicopee Area Community Forum on Facebook wherein another patron dared to suggest that the ice cream was anything less than perfect. The owner's response was to reply with a couple hundred words' worth of the most defensive, irrational drivel I've ever seen (and not for the first time by a longshot). When I entered the conversation, she got offended and blocked me. I'm sure she did the same to others in that conversation as well. About as unprofessional as they come. A responsible business owner doesn't respond to constructive criticism with defensiveness. They listen to their customers and attempt to improve. The owner of Roger's Place does not seem to understand that when people give you their honest opinion, you don't slam the door on them and pretend they and their criticisms don't exist or don't matter. Do not give this pace your business. There are many other options in Chicopee where the product quality is superior, the staff are professional, and the prices are lower. Keep reading for my most recent, and definitely last, experience at Roger's.
Dead average soft serve topped with a heaping helping of passive aggression. The 40 year old working the window yesterday needs to remember her age and not take it as a personal affront because a customer questions the price of an item. UPDATE YOUR SIGN so we know what we are going to be charged and stop taking out your frustrations on your customers. It's only April. You have a long...
Read moreDisgusted by the worker’s attitude, don’t bother coming here if you have any allergies. My husband has a gluten allergy and the first thing he did before ordering was let the woman working know. He ordered a sunday not knowing exactly what was in the it because he picked an item they had a picture of at the window that wasnt labeled what it is or what’s in it but he repeated multiple times to not include anything with gluten. Once he received his sunday he realized there was bread in the middle and went back to the window to ask if he could have a new one without the bread or any gluten. He did not have an attitude, people have misunderstandings all the time with what a gluten allergy is. The woman working had the nastiest attitude asking him why he would order that if he has an allergy and said there’s nothing she can do for him and that’s on him if he ordered that. She issued us a refund for the sunday but it’s unacceptable to be working in food service and not know what a gluten allergy is. What’s the point in having a sign asking customers to specify any allergies? Never coming back here because of how this worker...

I walked up to the window at 7pm to ask how much a price difference was between the strawberry sundae & a s soft serve ice cream cone with hard dip top. She suggested there being a heft difference between the two but, i chose the sundae anyways and still charged me the sundae claiming we just didnt have a conversation about the difference in the two, i had specified the phrase to “scratch that” to scratch the ice cream off my order. I wasnt going to make it a deal at all bc my moms friend was getting the same exact ice cream so i was just gon let it be but, she whats to come off the side of her mouth and said i never heard you say “SCRATCH THAT” w a stank attitude and proceeded to have someone else deal w me and my family’s order bc she couldnt take responsibility of the fact she over charged us, so this is for the girl who closesd the window on me and my family’s . i dont know her name, she was just rude. & ive worked in customer service...
