EDIT: The owner recently responded to a post in the Chicopee Area Community Forum on Facebook wherein another patron dared to suggest that the ice cream was anything less than perfect. The owner's response was to reply with a couple hundred words' worth of the most defensive, irrational drivel I've ever seen (and not for the first time by a longshot). When I entered the conversation, she got offended and blocked me. I'm sure she did the same to others in that conversation as well. About as unprofessional as they come. A responsible business owner doesn't respond to constructive criticism with defensiveness. They listen to their customers and attempt to improve. The owner of Roger's Place does not seem to understand that when people give you their honest opinion, you don't slam the door on them and pretend they and their criticisms don't exist or don't matter. Do not give this pace your business. There are many other options in Chicopee where the product quality is superior, the staff are professional, and the prices are lower. Keep reading for my most recent, and definitely last, experience at Roger's.

Dead average soft serve topped with a heaping helping of passive aggression. The 40 year old working the window yesterday needs to remember her age and not take it as a personal affront because a customer questions the price of an item. UPDATE YOUR SIGN so we know what we are going to be charged and stop taking out your frustrations on your customers. It's only April. You have a long...

Disgusted by the worker’s attitude, don’t bother coming here if you have any allergies. My husband has a gluten allergy and the first thing he did before ordering was let the woman working know. He ordered a sunday not knowing exactly what was in the it because he picked an item they had a picture of at the window that wasnt labeled what it is or what’s in it but he repeated multiple times to not include anything with gluten. Once he received his sunday he realized there was bread in the middle and went back to the window to ask if he could have a new one without the bread or any gluten. He did not have an attitude, people have misunderstandings all the time with what a gluten allergy is. The woman working had the nastiest attitude asking him why he would order that if he has an allergy and said there’s nothing she can do for him and that’s on him if he ordered that. She issued us a refund for the sunday but it’s unacceptable to be working in food service and not know what a gluten allergy is. What’s the point in having a sign asking customers to specify any allergies? Never coming back here because of how this worker...

Everyday this place is a 10 out of ten . DAILY AT ITS FINEST. But, today i went to my favvv ice cream jawn for the first time to start of the hot weather. I walked up to the window at 7pm to ask how much a price difference was between the strawberry sundae & a s soft serve ice cream cone with hard dip top. She suggested there being a heft difference between the two but, i chose the sundae anyways and still charged me the sundae claiming we just didnt have a conversation about the difference in the two, i had specified the phrase to “scratch that” to scratch the ice cream off my order. I wasnt going to make it a deal at all bc my moms friend was getting the same exact ice cream so i was just gon let it be but, she whats to come off the side of her mouth and said i never heard you say “SCRATCH THAT” w a stank attitude and proceeded to have someone else deal w me and my family’s order bc she couldnt take responsibility of the fact she over charged us, so this is for the girl who closesd the window on me and my family’s . i dont know her name, she was just rude. & ive worked in customer service...

I had to go after seeing all these bombs so went on Sunday. I ordered an almond joy bomb, it was not made with coconut ice cream as described but vanilla ice cream. It was not rolled in white coconut flakes but was rolled in yellow toasted coconut . It had hardly any hot fudge in the middle, not as shown in photos !!!!! It also eas NOT dipped in chocolate!! This girl worker, I dunno what she made but it was not what I ordered. There was a big line si I did not want to go back and tell her this is mot what I ordered, Live and learn. I will go elsewhere for my icecream! Ok so the. Manager kindly offered me to come back for a free bomb so i went today and got the Almond joy bomb which is what I ordered the forst time but thst one was not what i got. I confirmed with the girl how it was made and what was in it. I got the right one. It looked just like the picture & was delish! The management really cares about the customers to go anove and beyond. I now can say I tecommend Roger’s place!! Thank you!!!

We decided to try this place due to the hype of their posts on Facebook. We got there and the line was very long, and we waited about 45 min. Unfortunately the location is not good, and good luck finding parking. When we got to the window, there are photos of some of their items, but not one thing on the menu shows prices. That seemed a little odd. We ordered the banana boat, the churro nachos, and a kiddie size ice cream cup. When told our total was $47.50, I almost died. $47.50 for ice cream? I thought there was a mistake but not. Nothing was fancy about any of it, it's basically a large ice cream in a to go container. They have a small outdoor back area with picnic tables which we're all dirty as well. This was a one and done place for us, and unfortunately we won't be back.

You are definitely paying for what you get. I’ll start off with the things I like. The ice cream is full of flavor. I personally got the apple cider donut bomb, which tasted sooo good. The combination of the donut crumbs, caramel, and vanilla ice cream was incredible. The only downfalls to this place is 1. The bombs cost $31 each (which is understandable because of how much you get) and 2. The wait can be long, based on my experience there. There was about 4 people ahead of us in line which resulted in like an additional 20 minutes of waiting. It’s a one time experience for sure, no person could manage to eat this ice cream, sober or not. I enjoyed it this one time, but I don’t think I would ever spend another $31 on a bomb.
