Today I had Capri's Pizza and I ordered a plain cheese party pizza. I'm some what of a pizza fanatic and when it comes to judging pizza taste i am very critical. As tough of a rater that i am, i would give the pizza a rating of 9 or 10 out of 10. In past reviews of pizza shops in my quest to find the perfect pizza, i considered a rating of 10 as something "out of this world" and a 9 as "superb". I would have never thought i'd find something that rates a 9 or 10 but today it happened. Before today, i'd usually have to take a few bites before i could grasp the capacity of the pizzas quality and flavor. However, the quality of the dough/crust, pizza sauce, and cheese on my pizza was so flavorful that it only took one bite before it hit me...(and it hit me hard)... all of a sudden the heavens opened up and i was lost in a euphoria of flavor. I had to stop for a second to ask myself "wow have i really just found a diamond in the rough"? To some degree judging pizza can be a subjective entity: some people only like thin crust, some only deep dish, some only hand tossed etc. However, when it comes to Capri's pizza, there is no subjectivity to the matter... whatever category of pizza you're used to i dont believe someone can find a complaint about this pizza no matter what category of pizza one is accustomed to. If something is tasty, it is tasty; its as simple as that. It bothers me when i see even 1 bad out of 100 positive 5 star rated reviews for Capris pizza because i dont feel they are justified in sullying the name of such a pizza that fits in a standard that is "out of this world"/ "superb". I felt compelled to write this review today in an act to share my positive experience here and as a favor to others considering trying capri's pizza. They truly earned my respect and they deserve recognition. I can honestly say that no matter how hard i try to find a weakness with the pizza, i simply can not find anything, which is why Capri's earns a grade of...
Read moreDidnt get to have any food. Didnt get past the very thick and not fun customer service.
Just moved to Holyoke in February. Im originally from the east side of the state.
Man who picked up the phone. Didnt say hello. He said what. I asked if this was Capri Pizza he said obviously and laughed. Already dont feel good about this, I order some caesar salads, there is a long pause. And I start order an Hawaiian GF Flatbread and he cuts me off with a loud Ma'Am as if I was yelling and said that he didnt with the salads yet with a "you need to chill tone". So I apologized and took a pause. Literally no response. I felt like he was messing with me, but I carry on and I ask if they put cheese on the Hawaiian GF flatbread because it wasnt listed and he said obviously, I said well I unfortunately cant have cheese, he laughed as I asked for the garlic sauce instead. He says "we dont have garlic sauce", like I invented it and i said "well it says you do on your online menu." He said I was probably looking at the wrong website and asked the address. I confirmed the address. Long pause. Nothing. I said, "Im gonna go ahead and cancel this order I hope you have a nice night." He said fine. "Okay. Have a nice night as well." But in that nah-nah-boo-boo tone.
So I just wanted to reassure him and teach him what the menu has for the pizza place he works for.
I hope the snow o good quality phone attitude doesnt reflect the quality of how delicious...
Read moreEDIT 2023; WARNING!!! I've noticed lately that when I order from here off my phone and go pick up my food, in my car with my Gas they always look at the receipt to see if I left a tip. While charging a .95 cent "support local business" fee on top of the regular price. There food is good hands down but the company greed is getting ridiculous. I dont get tips for doing my job. I NVR opted in to a local business expense. Most items are over priced and walking inside sometimes is a nightmare but the DOUGH is AMAZING!! The price are sky-high now so I'm confused as to why there's this unspoken law that you tip for pick-up AND your charged for a local business fee. Customers come spend money you don't get tips for running your business. It's ridiculous and I'll just stick with RED ROSE they have always been straight forward and decent business owners.
Love this place 😍 HOWEVER its very unfortunate that you have to ASK the delivery driver for your change because for sum ODD REASON YOUR CHARGED $3 FOR DELIVERY THEN HE JUST CASUALLY WALKS OFF WITH YOUR CHANGE LEAVING U STANDING IN THE DOOR WAY LOOKING LIST. SO A $14 SMALL PIE TURNS INTO $20 ITS ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS AND MANAGEMENT SHOULD TALK TO HIM BECAUSE THATS NOT RIGHT. I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO ASK FOR MY CHANGE AND A SMALL SHOULDN'T COME UP TO $20 BECAUSE THE DRIVER FEELS...
