Las Poblanas is one of 5 Mexican restaurants in the Childersburg/Sylacauga area, and they have by far the most amazing Mexican food around. The staff are friendly and efficient, and the restroom is always clean. I recommend their Mexican cheese dip. Your mouth will thank you. They have a lunch buffet, where you can try many different dishes. I love their grilled chicken quesadillas, enchiladas, and chicken or steak fajitas. They have great tacos, which are $1 on Taco Tuesday, delicious burritos, flautas, and much much more. Their prices are better than most fast-food places, and you get chips& salsa. Food is excellent! We came in at the end of lunch so the buffet was still out, it was pretty extensive!, but we defaulted to our typical Tex-Mex dishes: chicken enchiladas and a steak chimichanga. 🤷🏻‍♀️

FULL DISCLOSURE: There is no booze here, folks. I can't lie, we were a bit disappointed thay there would be no mid-afternoon margaritas; but, we were set on Mexican food. And we were already there. And we were starving!

Normally, my husband and I would immediately skip the non-alcoholic joint while on vacation. Hunger won over the urge to find a more perfect restaurant, and I am so... soooo glad that it did!!

I always come back to this Mexican restaurant when I am craving some good authentic tacos. 🌮 🌮 🌮 This time our visit was just as good as ever. We had a nice attentive waitress. She made sure we had everything we needed and wanted. I ordered theTaco Supremes with a side of rice..
