El Toro — Restaurant in Chillicothe

Based on their food, I would give them a 4. Food was good, flavored well and good portions.

Based on the service we received I would give them a zero. Our waitress spoke no English at all. Before we were even done ordering drinks/appetizer she was walking away. We had to call her back so he could order his beer.

Well, the appetizer and beer never showed up. Food order was placed. We still didn't have appetizer or beer. Asked her about it and she just smiled and walked away.

Our food showed up. Still no appetizer or beer. Asked her about it again. She smiled and walked away.

A couple minutes later a man came over to the table and asked what we needed. We told him we needed our appetizer and beer. It finally came.

If you're going to have people waiting the tables they should know at least a little...

Went for a late lunch. They didn't have many customers but they acted real busy. We ordered Hawaiian fajitas. They came out without pineapple.. we told the waitress, she came back with 4 grilled pineapple rings..and the onions and peppers were mush like they had been in a crockpot for too long. No sizzle like places that make it all fresh. Margaritas tasted good but too weak for the price of them. My husband was never offered a refill on his water and Dr. Pepper. The place was clean and had great decor. There was a child running around the back. I can see needing ppl to come to work and allowing kids but sit him down with some toys or crayons and paper. Parking at this restaurant is terrible. Our waitress was the worst. She took 15 minutes to even come ask us what we wanted to drink and then 10 more minutes to bring them. The cheese dip she brought us was very cold. She walked past us 7 times waiting for refills and it took us 45 minutes to get our food. My food didn't have cheese on it. Thank goodness it was hot and we had the cold cheese. My husband's steak was over cooked. My son's corndog was falling apart and had hardly any breading on it. I just feel like if people are paying for something it should be better than what they had given us. More expensive than other Mexican restaurants in the area.
