0 stars for coffee shop, 2 because I'm sure their baked goods are fine. Rude staff, no espresso.
As I walked in, I immediately noticed the smell of roasting coffee. I love a local roaster and was excited at the opportunity to sample a new artist's work. The tables were covered with broken curtains, and crafts. NO big deal, I assume they are discouraging dine in as COVID is on the rise (Sept '21)
I went in and after waiting at least 10 minutes to be acknowledged, ordered an Americano. The rude woman behind the counter yelled at the barista, "it's not on our menu." He relayed the message.
Thinking maybe they didn't know what it was I asked, "do you have espresso." I was informed that our espresso machine was down. The problem is, they had just taken orders for a cappuccino and a latte. I can only assume they are making lattes with drip coffee.
It's bad enough that a bakery masquerading as a coffee shop would not care enough to fix their (very old) espresso machine, but to pass off drip coffee in a latte or cap is inexcusable. This place is obviously not for coffee drinkers, but for cupcake lovers. Which is fine, but they cost me time on the road and a great deal of confusion with...
Read moreThe only reason I give 2 stars, although giving 1 star for the 3 categories. Within the past 48 hours, (9/15/25) a few friends have told me the atmosphere here has a super positive vibe.
Had it not been for that, my rating would have been 1 star. The work week starts on Monday for the majority of folks. The name says it all Two Roasting Joe's and Livy Cakes.
Why do people go to Crispie Creme? coffee (Two Roasting Joes) and donuts (Livy Cakes) making assorted pastries 🍰.
I feel like this business is missing the mark by marketing a coffee business and custom cake/pastry/dessert/special occasion business. The problem being is it not open Mondays when the majority of us need the specialized services that you're able to provide.
I drive by this business everyday, I am not a coffee drinker. My amazing significant other's birthday is coming up. To her, theres cake, AND THEN THERE'S CAKE.
Now I am forced to troll 🧌 Facebook to look for a suitable alternative 🙄 🤔 😐 😳 Good...
Read moreWe ordered a cake for our daughter's wedding. When I went to pick it up, the top of the cake was awful as you can see from the photos. I was told, I am sorry and she walked away. When it was time to eat the cake, I was worse than it looked. The cake sat out of refrigeration and tasted like coffee. The cake should have been stored in a cooler until i picked it up. It was gross and stale. I called to speak to the owner and was told I would get a call back from her in the afternoon. They had another employee call me and when I asked why I am not speaking to the owner, I was told "she asked me to call." Horrible business owner hiding behind her employees. Take ownership of your business and talk to your customers. We all make mistakes but I am writing this due to you hiding...
