Food was good. Waitress not so good, had to ask for refills, had to ask what the specials are, had to ask what kind of pies they had. Nothing on the bulletin board nothing on the menu. Regardless of how much time it takes to post things on the board or what kind of pies you have in the refrigerator it needs to be done. The waitress has to repeat herself with every customer, that's just silly.
Got a ticket with nothing on it but what I ordered, no prices, no total, no nothing. When I asked the waitress why it was blank, she says oh that's what we do we'll figure it out at the counter.
I said the purpose of a ticket is to give the customer adequate time to get their money in order and to check the figures to make sure they're right to make sure it's not overcharged or undercharged. By putting absolutely nothing on the ticket it means that you're going to be 100% right 100% of the time, I find that hard to believe.
Sounds like lazy waitressing to me on multiple levels.
I also go to LJ's they've got a board with the pies for the day when they're down to one piece, the waitress puts one next to the pie selection. If at this idea does not work at your restaurant I think you have a...
Read moreIt took a while to get our menus, even though there was only 2 other tables. The food had barely any flavor, definitely not worth wasting money on to have again, which is crazy because how do you screw up breakfast? And pricier than it should be for the quality for sure, which they don't list the prices on the ticket and we had to correct the girl checking us out because she couldn't read the other girls handwritting. We usually love diners for breakfast but this was horrible. Burnt sausage, lack of flavor and even the pancakes sucked. The service was OK, but one of the employees had their wife and kids at the bar who were loud (including the mom), disruptive, uncontrolled by mom, distracting other employees and it felt like we were intruding in someone's house instead of being at a restaurant. First time there, failed experiment, and we will...
Read moreWent here with some friends after Summer Camp Music Festival. I apologize that I am writing a review so late but maybe that is a testament to the quality of their food as it has been on my mind since! They have by far one of the best breaded pork tenderloins I have ever had. After all of the great food I had at the festival the pork tenderloin horseshoe that I had at Track Inn is still the best meal I had all weekend. I ordered the full size like a total noob and laughed at the ridiculous size of my meal when it arrived at the table. At a modest price it was easily enough food for two meals. I left very satisfied with plenty of leftovers. My friends loved their breakfast as well. I hope to return again next year after festival. I recommend making a stop if you are looking for some great home style cooking. ...
