McDonald's — Restaurant in Chino Hills

I live nearby and this McDonalds has been having issues since before COVID. I’ve been patient because I know that fast food work can be genuinely challenging and I’ll take my office job any day over it, but today’s straw was the last.

I ordered my food in drive thru at 1:09. The cashier put me in a drive thru waiting spot and told me it would be a minute or two.

At 1:22, the drive thru food walker lady brought out my order, but actually not, because it wasn’t my order.

At 1:25, I drove to the front of the store to park and find out what was up. The drive thru lady was just walking out with my order, finally, 16 minutes later. I checked it for sauces. I had three orders meal deals that included nuggets with ketchup, a kids meal with nuggets with ketchup, and four fries, so I had asked for a dozen ketchup in addition to the ketchup for the nuggets.

I had been given four ketchup packets. I went into the store and got more, got in my car, and drove home without checking my order again in detail (a mistake).

When I got home, I realized that they hadn’t included the nuggets for the meal deals at all.

I drove back to the store and had to ask somebody for help at the counter for those nuggets - no help was offered until I made it a point to ask. I got those nuggets.

Finally, I drove home and sat down to eat, lunch secured. I opened my McDouble to spread out the pickles, but found that it did not have any pickle or onion. The final insult. They hadn’t even made my burger right.

Like I said, this place has long had significant problems. Since before COVID. But, after today, I’m done. There is another location on Grand at the 71. Go there instead.

Outstanding service! I ordered a happy meal to get the Halloween buckets. The worker, who I believe is a manager, was so helpful. Not only telling me what color bucket, but she said they were going to bring out another color bucket. But the bucket that they had was a color I needed.

After I got my meal, I went to get a Coke from the fountain dispenser. As I walked out, I spilled some coke on the floor. I told the lady who helped me, about spilling the soda. and I apologized for creating more work for her.

She said, don’t worry and she would take care of it. She got the wet floor sign and then a mop.

Most places just don’t care! They would just leave the spill there. But, she quickly cleaned it up, and she was nice to me. Even though I created more work for her! Other places, the people cop an attitude! Not here!

So she went out of her way to do two things for me! Telling me the color of the other bucket, and quickly clean up the spill I made, with no attitude at all.

I’d McD’s always had customer service like this, they would get...

I usually have a good experience at this location however today whoever was working the drive thru on Sunday October 15 2023 at 6:50am was super rude. This kid was beyond rude had no manners black hoodie doesn’t say much haha but super disrespectful. As soon as I got in the drive thru I asked very politely I’d like two deluxe breakfasts he immediately saids “will that be all” but in a very abrupt interjecting way with a super bored lifeless monotone voice. Then I said two McMuffins and before I could even complete that he interjects and saids will that be all and then I said coffee and you get the rest. So rude and the coffee was terrible he didn’t make it right or just doesn’t give a damn because he’s a snotty little highschool kid. Absolutely no respect don’t get it. This is why you don’t hire highschool kids I mean he could’ve been 13 for all I know. I wish McDonald’s recorded their employees audios. This is terrible I will go out of my way to drive farther just to not deal with that immaturity. Stop...
