I was driving along 90 and saw this small cafe ahead on the map by an hour or so and it grabbed my attention. It looked like it was new and that the people that have been willing to try it have enjoyed their visit. It was well worth passing by all the fast food to be able to eat here!

The staff were friendly and attentive. The kitchen was easy to see from where orders are placed and it was pristine. The dining area has a different layout style, but it was recently remodeled and has a good atmosphere.

The food was ready quickly and there's a lot there for such reasonable prices. I had the catfish po' boy, and it was filled with catfish that was perfectly done. The breading on the outside was just right, and the sauce that came on the side was ideal to add flavor without overpowering the fish. Also, can't forget their hot sauces! They had a large selection of hot sauces from which to choose, obviously I had to go with a classic New Orleans hot sauce and was amazed how it helped bring everything together. The fries were not as good as the sandwich, which could have been due to the time required to consume the catfish. They are thinner style fries with a light seasoning, they were not as crunchy as I would like for fries. I'm going to assume that was likely due to the time they sat on my dish while I enjoyed the main course. The hush puppies were well cooked, just not my style of hush puppies as they were denser than I prefer, but they did have great flavor!

My friend ordered the shrimp and grits and said it was amazing, I plan on try that if I'm in the area again.

Overall, if I was in the area again I would not hesitate to stop and grab some amazing food at a great price from this...

First time visit. Asked questions , spent around $55 and some change , paid with $100 bill and highly disappointed.

The atmosphere is louisiana Cajun on every inch of the building. However the food is NO WHERE CLOSE to this.

I was a native of 25yrs to New Orleans area. This place doesn't know Cajun food or taste.

If your over 55yrs old with no sence of taste then it's perfect for you.

Ordered red beans and rice - was told it was "Cajun rice" with little to no description beyond it was spicy and had a taste like jambalaya as well as having green and red bell pepper in the mix. They brought out a pack of conocha sausage to show the links they use. Photo below to show -left a full bowl behind.

I got it to try it. It came out 20 mins later ice cold and bland as could be. No flavor or taste at all. The cornbread was served wet with it. I ate 3 bites and put it down, there was no point.

Hushpuppies was the best thing I ordered.

Got a chicken tender basket for my son an they came out super small - paper-thin tenders and soggy cold old fries. NOT worth $10 price. Chicken had no taste or flavor Fries below in photos.

Shrimp basket came out mild warm at best and breading falling off shrimps , okra was okay with it.

Condiments on tables aren't checked frequently / where emptied and had to ask for replacements

Paper towel rolls on tables where empty and had to request new ones.

The whole visit and leaving hungry to find better food else where is not how I wanted to spend today. Oh well.

Not worth what we spent today and I won't be...

For a small town Cafe I would have thought it would be better. This place advertises "cajun" and Nola style food all over the place but they wouldn't know Cajun Louisiana style food if it was starting them in the face. My fried shrimp was basically just shrimp with no breading as it was all falling off the shrimp even before you touched it. My bf's red beans and rice were cold with no flavor and the "corn bread" it came with was a very gross sticky mess that didn't have much flavor. My bf's son got very bland chicken tenders and soggy, nasty fries. I had to go hunt down my own paper towels and ketchup as the one at our table was empty so that tells me the closing duties aren't being met or the tables aren't being checked on what needs to be restocked. The whole experience was very disappointing. If your someone from Louisiana, don't eat here. The food was not worth the $50 I paid. We had to leave and find something else for...

Can I leave 10 stars? Omgggg, I can’t begin to tell you how Great the service and the food was. Mimi was absolutely outstanding. Her knowledge of the menu and recommendations is a plus. The manager Crystal also made sure she came by the table to see if everything was OK. Everything on the menu is absolutely amazing. You cannot go along with the flight if you are looking for a delicious array of savory sweets this is what you were looking for. I cannot wait to come back in to experienceadditional items on the menu. This establishment has an awesome vibe. Additional items on the menu. This establishment has a awesome vibe. The music was great. The decor was awesome and the employees seem to be very happy. You do not want to miss out on this gem in Atlanta. They also validate parking. I felt like family and like I was home. Can’t wait to return!

It was our first time at Crescent City Cafe tonight, and not to my surprise at all, we had an amazing time! We're no strangers to their sister location, Katie's Kafe', so we knew we were in for a great experience. The menu has so many tempting options. I went with the gumbo, and my husband tried their oyster poboy. The gumbo was packed with flavor – loads of meat, veggies, and a mild spicy kick (though I couldn't resist adding a bit more Louisiana hot sauce from their extensive hot sauce collection). My husband's oyster poboy was fresh, tender and absolutely loaded with oysters. The sauce that came on the side took it to the next level. Crescent City Cafe has definitely earned a spot in our rotation. Great food, cozy atmosphere, and very reasonable prices. Go check them out the next time you're in the area!
