12/3, In response to the owners comment about copy/paste reviews - This is anything but a copy/paste review, and I've attached our receipt for your review. As for the 'exact same order and review' as another guest, not sure what to tell you there. This was our first, and based on the experience and your response, our last visit... When I asked about the boba being unpleasantly rubbery, I did NOT get offered a drink remake, as you suggest would be offered. Instead the lady said that was how YOUR boba was supposed to be, smiled and went on about her duties... me still standing at the counter. Nice.

If you're getting that many similar reviews, especially about similar items, then maybe it's time to assess that feedback and consider changes that will result in a better customer experience. Seeing this kind of response from the 'owner' and general lack of concern or accountability for such a dismal experience speaks volumes to what others can expect.

12/3 Original Review: Overall; poor quality food and drink for premium prices.

PROS; The staff was polite. The atmosphere was quaint and the location was easy to find.

We ordered boba teas, a salad and a Cuban sandwich.....

CONS; The teas were the most bland boba milk teas we've ever had, anywhere. Yes, it was milk tea, but we're talking, milk has more flavor! The boba was like chunks of rubber bands. And no, they weren't popping boba or jelly, they were SUPPOSED to be tapioca pearls... Yet they had the texture of old, dry jelly boba. Nasty. I asked the staff at the counter and she said, "oh, that's how OUR boba is supposed to be". Like it was something special. So, news on us .. having boba at dozens of places across the states, this is the first that it's SUPPOSED to be like pencil erasers. Unpleasant to say the least. Lol

The sandwich... A Cuban sandwich. Well, not sure where to start with this one. $8 and it was, in total, half the size you'd expect from a decent sandwich. The taste? Bitter. No, not the pickles, they were the best part .. the rest was, well, just bitter... No ham or pork flavor, no cheese or mustard coming through, just bitterness. It was an odd experience. Something I've never had in a sandwich. And for $8, a total disappointment.

The salad was delicious! Fresh crisp lettuce, lots of toppings, good dressing. A WIN!

OVERALL; So, in the end, we liked the atmosphere, the salad and that was it. The milk tea was tasteless and had nasty boba, at $6 for a 12oz drink. The sandwich was bitter and small, at $8.

I really wanted to give this place 5 stars except for 2 things. We will get to that. First of all this is a cute little coffee shop that sells original artwork and has a really nice atmosphere. Staff is very friendly and attentive, The coffee is good, and there are lots of coffee options. The food was delicious.

Now for the two things. First, we came there hoping for breakfast, but there was no breakfast on the menu. The cashier advised they have a few options for breakfast which all consist of eggs, homefries and sausage. There a was a bowl, a giant burrito and something else to choose from. I chose the bowl and he chose the burrito. Both were quite tasty. However. Google maps lists this as an option for "breakfast near me" when in the area, and it's an extremely limited menu for advertising as a breakfast place.

The second thing we found disappointing is that when my "bowl" came on a plate with toast and (I had specifically asked about flour in the meal because I have celiac)... The guy delivering it to me actually said, "Well the way I figure it we all have to die of something" and went on to tell us how he has it a little bit celiac But he eats it anyway... (sorry no such thing as having celiac "a little bit") And then walked away without offering to do anything about it. He was the oldest guy there, I sure hope he wasn't the owner. Now ...my bad for not being super specific in the first place... But what kind of response is that to any customer?

Bottom line if you work in the food service industry you should be aware of allergens in this day and age... And respond appropriately.

So that subtracted a star from an otherwise great little place. Didn't really want to give it less and let one bad apple spoil the whole rating. The only other thing I would suggest is COVID's over - stop with the plastic flatware and serve real utensils. I know it's easy, But it's nice to eat your food with something that doesn't wiggle...

This is a cute little café with a gift shop. The items offered were mostly American made, hand-crafted goods. Some items were hand-poured candles, all kinds of crocheted items, soaps, and a variety of other specialty gifts. Now onto the food, I ordered the Breakfast Plate with 2 eggs, bacon, tater tots, and toast. The eggs were okay, seemed like they were from a carton or powder. The bacon was great, it had a smokey grilled flavor to it. 😋 The tater tots were cooked perfectly! The toast was actually my favorite. It was toasted and buttered but not greasy like some turn out and it was the perfect thickness. Our other order was the Breakfast Quesdilla with bacon and it was good but could use more filling on the inside. It was only partially filled so it didn't reach the edges and was really thin. The salsa that came with it was really good. We also ordered a dirty soda (one of the root beers, Coconut Cream Pie), a latte, and frappe; they were all great! All of the staff were really nice and friendly. They seemed like they genuinely cared about each and every person that walked through their doors. It felt like a very positive environment. The café had the cutest farmhouse style decorations. It took a little while to get your order but it didn't seem bad because it was such a relaxing environment and it gave me time to wander around the gift shop. We will definitely stop next time we our on way to or...
