The decor from “Xmas in July” was still up so that was an awesome treat. Christmas trees decorated with lights, flocked with white cotton (snow), and ornaments that were simulated ice cream treats ! A disco ball to Enhance the ambiance.

The store, inadvertently I’m sure, was all Barbie colors, pink and light blue, with tons of nostalgic items from the 60s,70s and 80s.

Connectfour and Trouble games were on every other table as well as a Jenga game.

Definitely worth the trip.

The ice cream is sourced from a Wisconsin creamery, with over 50 flavors. With fun names like “Superman”, “This $h!t is about to get Real!” And “Munchie Madness”

The owners and workers were sweet as pie and opened to and answered any questions you may have whether it’s about the store’s decor or the actual ice cream flavors.

If you are driving through Lake Country in Indiana please stop in and treat yourself! 💪🍧💪

This adorable little ice cream shop is adjoining to the back side of Churubusco Community Park and has a breathtaking 1950s decor theme. The staff is extremely friendly and the owner is just precious. The business is seasonal and operates only in the summer. There are stairs to the main entrance which makes this establishment difficult for handicap access but the owner would surely come outside to offer service at the tables placed in front of the business. Parking is sufficient but the facility is also within walking distance from the ball diamond parking just behind Otto's for the busier times (like the Turtle Days festival running in Churubuscp this week). I have liked every flavor so far. Very kid friendly!!! There is a nice collection of games available too. My son and I played Connect Four on our last visit and Sorry! on the visit prior to that. We stopped here on our way through the town. This little shop is incredibly adorable! The atmosphere is fun and playful. Everyone is happy and enjoying their time. They have games on the tables and a fun play area for the little ones! We brought our 40’ rv through the lot and the owners were incredibly welcoming and kind. The staff was happy and seemed to genuinely enjoy their job and they were so kind with their interactions with their customers and the children. The ice cream was very smooth and creamy and the waffle cones were fresh and crunchy with a hint of sweet just like they should be!
