Disappointing Experience at BBQ COOK off and Vendor Market at Sip Wine Garden.
Attended the BBQ Competition this past Saturday, and it was a fantastic event with a great turnout! The atmosphere was buzzing, and it was evident that everyone put their heart and soul into their entries. However, despite the promising start, our experience took a sour turn when our results of the competition were not disclosed to us even by Tuesday. As participants, we were eagerly awaiting our standings, but unfortunately, they were withheld without explanation.
Adding to the frustration, attempts to communicate with the owner JR regarding this matter have been met with slow response times, leaving us feeling neglected and undervalued as participants.
While the event itself was enjoyable, the lack of transparency from the organizer regarding competition results leave much to be desired. We hope that future events will prioritize clear communication and fairness for all...
Read moreAwesome does not suffice the experience at this establishment. The minute we walked in we were approached by an employee even before we got to the hostess.
We were asked if this was our first time, where we preferred to be seated, and options were given, even though they were packed and busy.
ABSOLUTELY NO WAIT TIME. We were provided with menus, and recommendations without asking, and in less than 3 minutes we received our drinks. And I remind you, they were busy. The ambiance was mellow, welcoming, and relaxing and there was live jazz music that we didn't even realize until there was applause at the end of the performance.
The owners (JR and Jessica Sanchez) checked on us throughout our time there, while attending to other patrons and saw us out as we were leaving.
Overall, great experience. This will definitely be a return spot on my list.
Thank you for the warm and friendly experience.

Read moreFirst time hubby and I went for comedy night. Didn’t know how it worked with seating( told 1st come 1st serve) so we got there quite early to be assigned seats; pretty bummed about that because we were sat up front and became targets for the comedy show and had NO interest in being so. 90% of seats available at that point. Then it took us about 20 min to find something to drink as a LOT of sweet wines and draft beers listed on menu were NOT available. Now we had to spend time asking what there was. She questioned what menu we had & started looking herself; well what you handed us🥴. Good thing the food made up for it, except disappointed they were out of pretzels on a sold out comedy night. Also wish there was more than 1 bathroom for each gender. Comedians were funny and also made up for it all. It is a cute and cozy spot, we hope to give it another...
