Kroger Manufacturing — Restaurant in Cincinnati

This place gets three stars from me because the employees here are very nice and very helpful which is rare. That's the only good thing about this place tho. I was supposed to pick up a preloaded trailer. A simple drop and hook I thought. When I checked in I was told the trailer wasn't ready and he didnt know when it will be ready. I wasn't happy about that since this load was supposed to get me home to start my home time. After going back and forth with weekend Dispatch I asked the guy when he think my load might be ready. He made some phone calls and told me they can do a live load for me if I wanted to wait. I told him I pretty much dont have a choice and I will do that. This place is very very small and can only fit about one truck at a time on their lot. It got extremely hectic with trucks trying to get in and trucks trying to get out at the same time. The yard driver had to come out and direct traffic. When they gave me a door it was a corner dock and the yard driver had to help with guiding me in and the docks are so close together it's very easy to knock a trailer door off. To get here make sure you go down depot it is very easy to take the wrong turn to get here. If you make a wrong turn you can get in trouble since all the streets around here are very sharp turns. My advice to drivers is dont come here if your about to do your home time because this place will hold you up. They allow overnight parking in a lot across the street but its pointless because the local drivers take up all the space with their cars and trucks. I got here at 2PM and currently it 8PM still waiting to get loaded i am supposed to be halfway home by now. smh...

Be on time for your appointment, check in at guard shack, they will call you when they are ready for you. Slide your tandems back, the backing is very snug between trailers but plenty of room to maneuver and back straight in, wait to load and when you get green light, wait for security to bring your paperwork to you. Very simple, they are on point with their appt times, and typically takes about 1 to 2 hrs to load. The security guard, James (usually on 2nd shift) is the best. He is friendly and very kind. My fellow brothers and sisters I never write reviews ever but i want you guys to know please don't ever come here the worst facility ever first the person working at the guardshack is very rude and then my appointment was for 2pm I checked in at 1:45 PM and I'm still he waiting tti get unloaded and is 9:30 PM right now and is just not me its happening the other fellow drivers one guy told me he has been he for 15 hours is very crazy I hope you guys stay away from...
